Whats the deal with all these vampire movies in pop. Culture

Tweens will obsess over whatever the media tells them to. "uh.... sparkling cgi ab teen vampire love story...?" "AWW RIGHT YEA! COOLIO DOOD!"

The myth of vampires if just like many of the other immomrtal myths throughout history..

Its all about the psychological rammifications of immoratlaity on the human mind. Its all a metaphor... it always has been. Its sad to see people take everything so litteraly, it tells you whos not gonna make it.

I always looked at the immortal aspect of it as a prop to remove the confines of mans law or contemporary consequence. Much like science fiction does to establish precedent for immersion in the story being presented.

After all, it's not like they cannot die. Just step outside at noon or swan dive onto a picket fence if eternal life becomes unbearable.

Youd be supprised how long people can live as long as their delusions keep them on a steady high, but once their in the son... or you drive a stake through their beliefs... its all over.
