David Cameron spent £680,000 of taxpayers' cash on Downing Street

David Cameron has spent more than £680,000 of public money renovating Downing Street in the year that his government inflicted the biggest ever spending cuts across the public sector. Records of all government spending reveal nine bills for the refurbishment of Downing Street including £30,000 for work he and his wife Samantha carried out on the No 11 flat last summer. The centrepiece of their revamp was the kitchen, revealed this week in official photographs of the President Barack Obama's state visit.

Most people do not have money to do up their kitchen nowadays and he's spending £680,000 of the taxpayers money so he can have a little more luxury?

but that doesnt give him the right to spend that sort of money when there have been massive cuts to public sector spending. its a middle finger to the working classes.

Obviously mate but its the extravagance of the spending whilst most of the normal people in the country are struggling and there are massive cuts.
