The Kiss frontman and bassist really let President Obama have it during an interview on CNBC:

"Graphic Language" warning for video

Gene Simmons is one of my favorite Rock and Rollers, he has been ever since I was a kid in the KISS army; but I've never seen him be so blatantly political before. He says during the interview that he voted for Obama, stating "I voted for an ideal, not an Idealist."

I hope the rest of President Obama's Democratic supports will also wake up to the fact that he's a liar, a weak and ineffective President, and hasn't done anything he promised he would do. His insistence that Israel return to the 1967 borders shows that he has no problem alienating his supporters if he thinks it will help further his fascist/socialist/globalist agenda.

I don't think he'll be able to count on the Jewish vote the next time around.

*Mods: Headline Source. (I couldn't embed the vid from there.)

His insistence that Israel return to the 1967 borders

Ignoring the fact that isn't what Obama said. Obama said the peace agreement must start at the 67 border (as that's the last officially drawn one) with MUTUALLY AGREED land swaps for security, security of the Settlers, no one expects them to pack up, but for Israel to hold those areas, they will have to agree to swaps.

It's only logical. but as always with these issues, people latch onto a half truth and ignore the rest. Ignoring the fact that 3 previous Israeli Prime minsters all basically said the same thing, they must be jew hating antisemites too.

going back to the 67 borders, and staying within them, just isn't feasible. The settlements that are already established should be allowed to stay, but other areas will have to be given up in MUTUALLY AGREED deals.

If Israel refuses to define their border, how exactly do they expect anyone to recognize them as a Jewish state?

Alas though, for a large chunk, Israeli's wall, missile dome, and advanced military weaponry, is more important than infrastructure back at home as the US crumbles.

So a man who lives in Beverly, Hills California is going to tell the president what it's like to live in Israel?

Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

But seriously, this just shows the Jews don't run everything, although they do have influence, and it is "the jews" as opposed to Israelis because as exampled here Genne Simmons does not live in Israel, although he is a Jew. Not that all Jews are bad, Norman Finkelstein is a great one, but come on, why is it that a guy from California suddenly knows what the 1967 border agreement means?

Personally I don't even like Obama, and I'm a bit intrigued that US and Israel are supposedly at odds, but I think it's just horseplay.

well Gene does have some valid points
even though I didn't agree with all of
them. But it's nice to see him being
politically active.

And to be honest, I think Gene has
an ATS account and is a member here.
I don't think he posts a lot but me thinks
he pops in occasionally

Howdy Gene

Now this is something I can sink my teeth into, he really tells it as he see's it! Great video, and Gene is truly a Jewel among men, he is one of the most loyal and hardworking people on the planet. The best part is that even though his family and business is his first two priorities, he always , always gives back generously and has raised his family to do the same.

I can see how he is fed up and is beginning to talk politics!

You go Genie!!!

Does Gene Simmons even keep his pants on long enough to indulge himself in politics?

Seriously though, this has been the stance of the White House for decades now. Where previously the stance fell upon the def ear of America, now folks want to listen to Obama for the sake of criticism. Why that is, I don't know, but folks seem to derive some twisted pleasure out of criticizing everything Obama does. Be it a positive, negative or neutral action on Obama's part, rest assured that there will be spinsters out there trying to disparage his competency as POTUS.

Yeah that’s really interesting because Gene Simmons is the guy I always turn to for some in depth political analysis of the unimaginably complex situation in the Middle East.......

Really, this is what you’ve got for us, Gene Simmons, I don’t give a dam what this guy has to say on the matter because he is not an expert, and his opinions are probably the result of reading the MSN and not from any kind of knowledge of the Middle East. If he was commenting on Obama’s musical tastes, I might sit up and listen to him, when he’s commenting on his foreign policy I ignore him.

I think it’s a fair assumption that Obama and his advisers know a lot more about the appropriate Middle East policy to adopt rather than an old mediocre rocker.

I loved the bit where he started ranting about how Obama should move to Israel to see what its really like, I wonder if he would be prepared to set a example to Obama by moving out of his multimillion dollar mansion.

I think not

I find it truly sad on that on a site who prides itself on the motto “deny ignorance” some people it would seem are turning to mediocre washed out rockers like Gene Simmons for political analysis. I might just start using Peter Griffin to back up my arguments if this is the level that we have lowered our self’s to. Really, people this is getting pathetic turning to this guy for political analysis is like turning to your pet dog to get advice on how to fix your car.

Gene Simmons is a joke.

Potayto/Potahto.

In order to start from the 1967 borders, you have to return to them.

Aggie, I know u have been here long
enough to know that a lot of folks including
myself did the same exact thing to Bush
on a daily basis here at ATS. So don't
even imply this all started with Obama.
Cuz it didn't

Wrong.....

As a small wee boy Gene Simmons used to live up the street from our family in Haifa, Israel so yes Gene Simmons has far more knowledge than you on Middle Eastern affairs by a long shot because he IS Israeli born and bred!

Then move along to another thread where you can agree rather than discuss. I find Gene Simmons very knowledgeable, far more boots on the ground kind of man than say Trump, hahaha Gene imho Trumps Trump!

Where's my FAIL Horn?

Oh, here it is:

As BlueMirage pointed out, Gene DOES have a much greater connection and knowledge of Israeli issues than Obama; and you apparently.

I'll bet if Rosie O'Donnell had something to say about it you'd be agreeing with her all day long.

Then why doesn't he move back to his God Given country? He can take Smokin' Joe Lieberman on his shoulders.
What country owes It's existence to the UN yet ignores all mandates against it? I just wish someone would illegally bomb some of their nuclear power plants and installations (ie BOMBS!). They think they are above international law. They'll learn soon enough that the world community isn't putting up with it much longer.

Gene Simmons is one of America's greatest rock icons and you want him to move back to Israel just because he's Israeli born? You would never had known if I did'nt tell you!

Your idea of having Israel's nuclear facility bombed is the most stupidest comment I've read on ATS......I would NEVER wish that upon USA for all the tea in China.

Kiss may have been my first concert but Gene doesn't know history if he thinks Ugandans instead of palestinians hijacked the plane that led to the Entebbe raid.
Also Hugo Chavez hasn't asked for squat from the US, in fact he was giving us oil as cut rate prices when severe weather in the Northeast US was freezing people to death with no oil.
Put your make up back and do what you know how to do which is put on a rock show (I'm not going to call him a musician)
He may be right about the pre-67 borders being indefensible but that does not make up for what Israel and the UN have done and continue to do to the Palestinian people.

I hope one of Gene's Publicists is reading this and encourages him to come on into ATS and speak his peace through us. Skip the media platform Gene! They will twist it about on ya, come on in, have a sit, read a bit, and realize we all "woke up" in regards to this False Prophet called Obama!

I love Gene, what a Daddy! I enjoyed his reality show back in the day!

Funny though, I never was caught up in the KISS thing as a teen, but he Rocks!

You're assuming quite a bit. You're the epitome of knowledge on Israeli born people. No one but you has access to this knowledge. But I digress. This isn't meant to be a personal attack. My comments on the bombing of Israeli nuclear facilities stands and is not ignorant. They have destroyed facilities in Iraq and Syria. The UN even condemned the one back in what was that 1981. Before gas attacks and the like from Hussein fell out of favor with the west. They have nuclear weapons and have destabilized the region in doing so. Yet they feel they are entitled to the weApons which they claim they don't have and no other country in the region may have them to defend themselves against attack or just have a reactor. Maybe if someone else had access to weapons to keep them in check, maybe they would go back to their borders mandated and try to give peace a chance.
