I suppose this was no suprise to those attending court to determine amoungst other things defendants competency.

Evidently some remarks blurted out by defendant were an example of his psychological impairment.

Maybe he will be cured and stand trial at a later date?

In the meantime, I guess a padded room will suffice.

Tough to think this is any consolation to the many victims, survivors and family members

So he single handedly undertook an unprecedented act of terrorism on american soil and is not going to face trial???

I am sorry if this isn't relevant, but I read an article from Associated Press saying that he blurted out: 'Thank you for the freak show. I watched her die right in front of me.'

I'm assuming he is talking about Gabrielle Gifford, but I'm not sure.

The way I see it, his sentence will be death by legal injection, or he will be drugged up and put in a rubber cell for the rest of his life. I'm guessing the way he reacts he is hoping for the latter.
