Just popped in to say that I think your homophobic biggoted rant is disgracefull and that I think you should be ashamed of yourself. Homosexuality is not a life style choice. Some people are sexually attracted to members of their own sex, and not in the slightest bit attracted to members of the opposite sex. This may be genetic, as per many scientific studdies. You have obviously heard of some of them or you would not be denying their validity.

As in all walks of life their are those people who are nice and will treat you well, there are those who are horrible and will dump on you or worse. An equal proportion of each will prbably be gay. Do you condemn all of one type of person just because 1 of them upset you? That is very closed minded.

This world needs a little bit more peace and tollerance, not more biggoted homophobia from the likes of you. I am a happily married man and I am not afraid to say that I love my gay friends, they are funny, friendly, kind, gentle and loving. It disgusts me when people come out with blanket statements about how "they" are so awfull.

There is also this very uncomfortable link developing in this thread between pedophilia and homosexuality. This needs to be avoided, as the very vast majority of gay men and women are as honest, decent and law abiding as you or I. The only linnk is that some pedophiles like boys rather thhan girls.

Here's the point everyone is missing. It has nothing to do with not being able to marry. It has to do with celibacy. These men have vowed to not have sex. Now, if they decided to have an affair with a single woman in their parish, that would cause a problem because everyone would become suspicious when they are spending too much time together. And the woman might decide she wants people to know about their relationship even if the priest does not.

These men prey on boys because they are readily available and no one is going to question the relationship between a padre and an altar boy. The boy is at the church all the time, helping with preparation for mass, etc. The priest sees this as an opportunity, not only because the boy is always around, but also because the boy is more vulnerable than a fully grown adult. Most young boys are just discovering their bodies and haven't learned what is and is not okay sexually, and the priest exploits that.

But most of you are probably right, these men were pedophiles before they decided to become "men of the cloth."

wow! truly sick! happens so often in so many places and time and time again the higher ups protect the lowers. occasionaly one or two get thrown to the wolves(now that we have internet). in the past it was covered up and not considered polite to put on the news. kinda makes you wonder if its more than just intentional like its procedure, you cant be a preist unless you were a willing victim that kept your mouth shut. or maybe its a requirement to be cardinal etc and fill the bottom ranks with a bunch of well meaning good people. how else do you explain this high a percentage of an extremely abnormal/rare crime happening in such a small pool of people?? wasnt there a major scandal in boston and the church promoted the guy to ambassador to the vatican or such? im sure there are other examples of the church protecting the individual preists? their reputation? how come i never hear about the church screaming for the prosecution and removal of the so called bad apples(those that didnt get away with it)?? shouldnt the church have used its political powers to have the staute of limitations removed on child rape decades ago???

I am not ashamed, because it's not genetic, and yes of course, I know about all those studies, including all the flaws in them. I posted links to articles about all those flaws and faults, and got abused by a couple of hysterics, a man and a woman who clearly has serious issues.
Homosexuality is a lifestyle choice, and in the 21st century, a very cushy one indeed!
I deny the validity of all of those studies, not just some of them, and I have read probably far more widely about it all than you have, for reasons I won't go into. I don't like being abused.

Michael jackson was a victim of sexual predators at a very early age, and lord knows what else. Anyone can see by his obsession with Shirlet Temple (another child sex slave) , and his obsession with wanting to reamin a child, that something seriously went wrong in his life. I don't consider him a hero, but i think he was a loving person with some really serious issues to deal with.

You are correct..its a choice of lifestyle,based on may factors...maybe not 100% of the time..there may some hormonal links and early childhood tramaus in some cases,but most gays choose to follow that path....as do all bi-sexuals....and with the new laws portecting them,and liberals taeching it to 2nd graders,its a cushy choice....but there is nothing that can be done outside the family dynamic....

Yes, he was seriously messed up.. I do feel sorry that his life was such a complete mess, and I also feel very sorry for his victims, and for his children, that their mother failed in her bid to save them from the people who messed up their father's life! (Contrary to what many people believe, Debbie Rowe did not choose to desert her children, the Jackson clan kept her away from them by force and by law, and above all by the power of money)
