I just re-read Ross Perot's book United We Stand. I really liked and agreed with half of it. In truth I actually voted for him.

So who would Ross Perot vote for?
Sarah Palin - Capitalist
or
Obama - Socialist - (current masquerading as a capitalist)?

1) Ross Perot is one person. Just because he thinks one way (and I highly doubt he would be a palin supporter), does not provide any backing for your statements.

2) Why wont you answer my question?

Oh please god no!!! Can't someone who is a decent person finally run for president?? Why are our choices bad or worse??

When it comes to Sarah Palin's chaos, the media, Democrats, and Republicans caused her problems.

What do people have against female presidents?

Hillary Clinton - Was originally called a racist by Obama supporters.
Sarah Palin - Was called a racist, radical, and idiot by Obama supporters.
Michele Bachmann - Was discriminated by Obama supporters because she went through a witchcraft stage in college.

What the?!?!? Gender bias? Reverse racism?

So what are you saying? That actually the country really isn't racist but actually sexist? I could actually believe that. Look at Oprah (I am not a fan) she backed Hillary until a black man came along. Did race trump political views? Don't forget it was asked when Sarah was VP candidate- whose going to take care of her children.

One other point. The country is terribly divided, if Palin is elected the division will not heal.

It isnt anything other than standard politics in this country. Think about it

Clinton smoked weed
W was a cokehead and a deserter
Obama is Kenyan, a socialist, etc etc.

This is what America does with ANYONE in the political view. Not just females.

No one could heal the division.
Look at the mess up in Wisconsin.
They trashed the capitol building.

ANd the PS (Palin Supporters) jumped down my throat when I brought up Palin, just days ago......saying that I was just piling on and that she had no plans for public office (???) Wow, the way her fans apologize for her is borderline "hero-worship" based....on fluff and lint, and air headed "idiocracy"....(Bats in the belfry....)

The choice will be that simple.

It's ironic that James Carville is one who showed everyone the poll that most
people think Obama is a socialist.

He is also the guy who told everyone that Gov. Sarah Palin is compelling.

And Liberals everywhere cheer. This is the Liberal dream candidate for the GOP. The GOP wouldn't even take Utah, not to mention the down the ticket disaster she would engender.

But, sadly, she won't run for POTUS. She'll run for Kyl's Senate seat.

I don't know what this means but I do know if Palin is involved it's automatically FAIL

Yep... but given Americans now have a choice between two political farces, I suppose only like 10% will vote for anything, at all.

What is your definition of capitalism?

The word capitalism encompasses far too much to be defined in a few short lines.

In a nutshell it is a free and open market in which the private sector controls the majority of profit/production, which focuses on a class system, specifically a middle class.

But like I said, it is much more complicated than a small definition can explain.

But a country divided is a weak country. The whole Wisconsin scene was shameful. It was not a bad as the protests that took place in Europe & Greece but the whole mess was pathetic.

Now I like the idea of her running for a Senate seat. Too many people, including myself were disappointed that she stepped down from her Governorship. She needs to complete a term in higher office then mayor.

I'd say you're partialy right. Though it doesn't focus on a class system but on profit. What it controls is a product or service that people want.

I'm going to vote "other" for the 2012 election. I don't think that Obama, Palin, or Ron Paul would make good presidents at this juncture. Ron Paul could potentially destabilize the US infrastructure for the worst because of his desire to basically start again from the ground up. Obama could potentially bring about the 4th Reich. And Palin, well... she just seems like a marionette and a poor orator who mysteriously has excellent charm and charisma. Whoever is the mastermind behind Palin's administration could more or less "control" her. So maybe she would be a good choice for the Republican party because she would just say and do what the party tells her to do.

I honestly don't believe that the US needs any type of drastic change for the next four years. I'm basically wanting to put the US's progression or declination on a four year hiatus with some more of the same.
