Who are these American Nazis. It's not even a word.

For example: Are you a Nazi?
That is like asking, are you a CIA?

If the American people do not understand that the Nazi was designed for revenge on the United States over theft of Prussian land in the 1800s then why is it referenced everywhere in America politically?

Stop trying to be clever...
It's used figuratively and for what it represents rather than its actual definition.

The word Nazi is overused. Anytime someone gets angry at anyone they resort to calling them a "Nazi". It sounds hilarious if you spell out what it actually means. "You are a member of the German socialist workers party!"

Despite it's origins a word evolves over time. The term "Nazi" in its current connotation is used to describe one who is Menically Evil; Morally Void; Mindlessly Fascist; Antisemetic;Evil Etc. All thanks to Hitler and the Holocaust.

It is used to draw into question a party's ethics, intentions, moral turpitude. It is also used to define a person who's character is lacking, deficient or evil.

...Pussian land... 1800's... America...

I'm sorry, I freely admit that I'm not really that well-rounded on my central european, mid-19th century military history but... I'm at a loss to figure out what America's involvement with "Prussian land theft in the 1800's" would have been.

I mean if you're trying to make the point that hte nazis were ignorant twits, okay, that works too.

To answer your question, it's because "Nazi" is a lot less of a mouthful than "totalitarian fascist jackass with a side of racism"

It's called Godwin's Law or reductio ad Hitlerum. This refers to an attempt at poisoning the well by drawing an analogy between another’s position and Hitler or the Nazis.

Thanks canptain obvious. A movement and a label defines itself first, then, later on, it is defined by history according to its own actions and deeds. Launching World war II and the Holocaust somehow took the spotlight over any socialist agendas they might have implemented.

Think of feminism. Look up the textbook definition of it, then go around asking people what they think of feminism and feminists.

Antisemitic is only one of many possible specializations. It should not be defined by being only against this special group of people. It should be understood as Anti-[some_distinct_group] and this more generic definition would then even allow for the existence of Jewish Nazis. Of course this is not wanted by exactly those, they want to be the only ones on this planet who are immune to this ideology by definition.

what developed from the minor, humble beginnings NAZI Partywas orchestrated...

recall the inner sanctum of the group that ran the NAZI party were occultists and definitelely used ley lines to place rallys and regional headquarters and such...
the leadership also was convinced of the Vril Force... they knew of the Spear-of-Destiny
they also used the hidden messages... like the 'crooked cross' symbol a
nd the hidden-in-plain-sight connection that Jesus was known as the Nazorean so there was a Nazi connection to be used for a subtile advantage in leading the herd mind....

i suspect that the Nazi = Nazorean item was 'code' for the elites within the nazi war machine
the 4th reich=nazi=(is presently the USA's MIC (military industrial complex) that Eisenhower warned us about)

Actually Godwin's Law makes no judgement - it's simply an observation that, the longer a thread persists on an internet forum, the higher the chance that someone will mention Hitler or Nazi Germany. Godwin's Law doesn't apply if the thread is actually ABOUT nazis or Hitler, of course.

It's kinda like how everyone is taught that the Holocaust was the extermination of Jews, when it was really the extermination of a broad-range of peoples, including sexual orientation, other races, other religions, etc. I know a lot of people in (America) that believe the Holocaust was solely the plight of the Jews, as they don't know any better. Revisionist history is never good.

Likewise, people are not aware of what "Nazi" actually means, due to very similar circumstances. Most people just compare it with something 'fascist' or too much authoritarianism in any given society. They don't even know 'socialist' is in the term, nor are they typically aware that it refers to a political party. So you see a lot of liberals conflating neo-cons with Nazism, and of course, it is flip-flopped and the opposite occurs. However, "Nazi" took on an entirely new meaning all by itself. It's seen as one of the single greatest tragedies of authority getting of control in recent history. Thus, that's what it is known as, and for good reason.

The Nazis are known for many things, far too many things to list. It is the result of authority gaining too much power, and having no oversight whatsoever. When authority does that, anything can happen, and anything does.

I don't care where the term nazi comes from...it's pretty clear what it means to Americans. No matter what is said, Americans were given enough propoganda in WWII that it's meaning to us will never change. Nazi's and the Aldolf Hitler regime are forever burned into the memories of the world over as the inhuman, slaughtering, pig's that they were.

Justice will forever be done when every last one of them is gone.
