There is the American Nazi Party as there is the American Communist Party. One is from the far-tight, the other one is from the far-left.

You'll have allways extremist from both sides. You can ban their party if you want, it will change nothing !

Comparing nazis and communists is a propagandistic pro-racist oversimplification... Right wingers (together with the current bush administration) are in favor of enforcing race-based prosecution and treatment, while communists proclaim the universality and equalness of humans. Quite a difference in my opinion...

When I see North-Korea ( a communist country ), I don't see ANY differences between what they are doing right now and what the nazis did.

Not surprising. It's been a good 15 years since the fall of the Soviet Empire. It was not seen by the academia as an evil entity but as their idol of worship, therefore the decades of struggle by the U.S. to save itself and the rest of the world from it is taught in a left-wing light in the school environment. It's not surprising that this askewed attitude would be displayed.
I spent my younger days standing the line between us and them. I remember. I know better than that crap. You need to learn the truth.

Ouch, as one who IS a little left leaning AND in acedemia I must say I take offense. I do not in any form view the Soviet Union as a paragon of idealism. Ridiculous.

I merely pull from my extensive experience in the student's seat and from what other's have passed on to me.

I in no way meant to say that every teacher or professor is as I led one to believe, and I'd like to make that clear at this time.

There are actually now MORE ayrans left than there were before Nazi Germany due to their breeding programs.

God it's a shame they don't teach WW2 much anymore in High School. You think the Nazis were just some imperialist dictatorship? Guess again, they were a New Religion hell bent on Artificial Selection.

If they had the technology today imagine what they'd have been doing. Gene splicing and such to determine that the child would be both pure aryan and well bred, and probably even cloning of "lesser races" for slaves and soldiers.

Further into discussion, most college professors teach liberally, and think "imperialism is wrong"...I've been listening to some WT teachers here, and their suggestive reasoning as to why fighting in Iraq is wrong is disgusting.

And if you want to control a society, you teach two things. First you teach the youth that they are "the future." Then you teach them their future. (being it whatever you want it to be).

In Nazi Germany, the elders were usless old bags, Children were the future, and aryan children were to be the "masters" of that future. And that future was a society of Perfection, genetic perfection.

Well thanks Thomas, but you don't need to call me sir... you ARE a decade older than me I just want you to know that the majority of my grad school mentors are about (I am guessing) your age (40-45ish) and they really run the gammit, conservative, liberal AND normal!! that's me gaining in age and normal, I claim no pole to be truely mine on the political poles.

Communism/Socialism goes against human nature. Did you know our first year here on the new continent our folks tried that idea and darned near starved! True fact. Not usually told by public education.

You have a wonderful point about one thing, and I'm sure it was by accident. Truth of the matter is, though, we weren't supposed to be a "democracy", only a republic. The two aren't interchangeable.

But, hey, you're a successful entrepeneur, and that is great. But if you really want to practice the failed type of economic system, start now. I'm sure you make much more than I do, so send me enough money to where our lifestyles are equal. It is also a matter of plain historical record that in the pre-Nazi era, the Nazis and Communists (in Berlin especially) worked together against what was left of the post-Weimar government.
Stalin, of course, started off as a Commissar for the minorities: and was about as perfect a racist as you can get. Had he not died during the Doctors' Plot he'd have beaten Hitler on the anti-Jewish score.
The misuse of State Power will almost inevitably come from the Left, for it is the Left that exalts the "State" above other sources of authority: e.g. aristoocracy, money, religion.

What could we say about the nazis and the communist ?

- Who were selling their oil to the nazis ? Communists.

- Who were selling their goods to the nazis, when they were letting starve to death their own peoples ? Communist.

- The German-Soviet Pact of 1939.

-When the nazis were attacking Poland by her west border, the Soviet were attacking Poland by her east border. ( I would like to know why France and England didn't declare war to USSR when they were attacking Poland. Because they took the nazis attack against Poland as an excuses to declare war to them,but they didn't say/do anything against USSR )

- The Russian NKVD was sending back in Germany all the communist germans who were in USSR.

- The German GESTAPO was sending back in USSR all the Russians who were anti-communist.

- When war between France and Germany started, french communist were sabotaging the France military Industry.

Nazis and communist are really equals.
