This should happen EVERYWHERE people see cops brutality for no reason.

Freaking cops are not above the law.

FINALLY the cops are getting some payback on them. Since we've been having so much unrest lately with them just abusing thier power im glad to see us doing something!

This is what we all need to do every time we see a so called cop mis-abusing his or her power. They are not hired to beat peoples asses...the are suppose to uphold justice for "ALL"...

Two wrongs do not make a right

yes they shouldn't have been hitting that guy like that in anyway. There were plenty of them where they could restrain him. I don't think he was going anywhere.

However when they did attempt to get away and were mobbed that is where I do not agree.

Instant karma
They might be able to do that on the streets but not in front of 40,000 people
I hope everybody learns a lesson from this.
I'd say the people of the world are pretty fed up.

Ok, this is F'ed up on both sides. The cops were a bit excessive. But to be honest, he was resisting. You couldnt see exactly what was going on but it was fairly obvious he was struggling. On the other hand, he was just some fan being a doofus, not really a threat at all. On the other hand, they beat the hell out of those cops. Not really a valid response to being upset about "unnecessary violence"

Lose, lose.

Awesome! I agree with you Vitchilo, if more of this happened maybe we'd see less police brutality. I love how they just left their buddy laying on the field while they ran to save their asses.

You can definitely tell it wasn't in the US. Anybody know where this occured. Here they would call out the SWAT Team and probably the National Guaard.

Like they say, every hurricane begins with a single raindrop. Notice how the crowd of like 80 is still less violent than the few cops...

An old video I believe?

But still relevant.

Yeah so the guy made a big no-no by running onto the field... I guess in France (?) that gets you a tonfa to the gut.

And we see what police brutality gets when it is brought into plain view.

Those cops were very lucky. They could have been torn limb from limb.

How arrogant or stupid must one be to cross the line in front of thousands of already volatile soccer hooligans?

When watching police abuse their powers and use heavy handed techniques i always hope for the onlookers to do exactly what this crowd did.
That cop running for his life made me laugh, and i bet he will handle things a little differently next time.

It was on REAL-TV several years ago...

Police brutality is here to stay.

Are they any better than the cops? Really? Pull them off the guy and restrain yes but to continue to beat them? Vicious circle.....

No, I don't notice that at all. I didn't see the cops kicking anyone's face in.
