I'll give you the same advice I gave another poster:

Please be careful how you format your responses, as this one highlights MY userid. People jump to the conclusion that I authored it.

It's the way the website is programmed....if you quote someone who replied to someone else, it formats like that. See...my name is highlighted in this post.

Go complain to the owners, keep your advice to yourself if you don't know what you are talking about and try to stay on topic....and maybe stop being so anal.

Now...are you going to try to refute my post?

Under George Bush Jr. the news ran stories that Veterans Affairs was 1 year behind in processing Disability Claims.

Under Obama the claims backlog is 2 years and growing.

Changes Obama have implemented take time. One thing you can't say is that Obama isn't helping the VA.

www.politifact.com...

Fully fund the Veterans Administration - Promise Kept

www.politifact.com...

Expand the Veterans Administration's number of "centers of excellence" in specialty care - Promise Kept

www.politifact.com...

Increase the Veterans Administration budget to recruit and retain more mental health professionals - Promise Kept

Veterans Affairs contracting out doctors........Veterans now unable to routinely get Schedule II narcotics filled every month.....Phoenix VA Hospital had sewage leaking from it's roof and dripping into patients on the operating table.....Did you know OBAMA is contracting out Disability Evaluations of the Active Duty Armed Forces AND Veterans Affairs?

Some contractor will be doing that now. Yeah Obama.......

Don't buy the lie Obama is funding Veterans Affairs. He's not. Here's a little national secret.....

Ronald Reagan stepping into power with the country about to implode from Federal Liability. So Ronald Reagan came up with the plan to allow Veterans to go to Veterans Affairs for NON-SERVICE connected healthcare needs. This would allow the Government to bill their private insurance...plus they could charge the veterans AND make money on peddling them medications. Shortly thereafter the VA had posters up touting they were making BILLIONS......

Well times are worse in America and Veterans no longer have any private insurance for Veterans Affairs to bill for that NON-Service related healthcare needs. Veterans are dying and not paying Veterans Affairs their medical bills and Ronald Reagans big money making scheme has actually made matters worse.

Veterans Affairs hasn't been "Fully Funded" since before Ronald Reagan. They've been robbing Peter to fund service connected healthcare needs to Paul...and their economic scheme is no longer viable. Peter's broke.

Sources would be nice.

I provided you with sources that state that the VA has been fully funded by Obama...go get me a source that says otherwise....or am I just supposed to trust you???

Your little rant was entertaining...but ranting isn't proof of anything.

You just don't know how to use the website, is all. You're like the picture of a woman that uses the heel of a shoe to pound a nail. Don't expect me to teach you, either.

And you want me to debate your "facts"? As I said to another member,

"All joking aside, some 'facts' put forth are so vague that they are un-debatable. I mean, how can you argue with a statement like "Obama implemented many programs to help out the middle class"? WHAT programs? But don't ask, because you'll be accused of vitriol and personal attacks."

And you want me to debate you after you come up with gems like these?

Thanks.

Unfortunately...judging from past experience...they will just ignore the facts and not respond. It is standard operating procedure...they jump on the topic early...attack and spew vitriol...then disappear when facts are brought into the discussion.

Try learning some manners, otherwise don't expect me to respond to you. I don't feed trolls.

Too funny...silly complex "quote" button...how must I click ye????

Just admit that you can't refute anything I posted and move along.

You don't want to debate because you know you are outgunned...you do fine trying to throw insults and calling people trolls...but when presented with facts...you run away because you know you have been defeated.

At anytime...you can address my points...or just keep running...it is the same end result for me.

It's funny seeing you dodge responding to the actual TOPIC.

Please...go refute my points about Obama...and stop dodging. Although it is very funny....it's starting to get sad.

The 2 party system we vote in is corrupt. It will not change no matter who you vote for. Voting is useless. The lessor of 2 evils sounds about right.

To all:

I apologize for any part I played in dragging this thread off-topic. I'm going to take a long break away from it now, and cool off.

Having seen some of the contributions of members in this thread, I have reconsidered my original post. I will vote for Obama in 2012.

This disease we have been suffering has long been known to be incurable. I don't see the need in prolonging the suffering any more by trying to get someone in who may add a day or two of relief only to find ourselves back on the same path. I think the quickest and most effective way to bring down the USA, the planet and humanity will be to keep Obama in or a second term.

Here's to hoping things don't change in 2012. Go Obama!

Hmm... Can voting for a person with the intent to bring down the US be considered sedition or treason? Maybe DHS will be at my door on election day to ensure I don't vote.

I should have known better, I guess. Any thread about any candidate eventually gets filled with only the other side. Nobody can bring a point to the table without getting dogged enough to result to name-calling.

Here's my position: I won't vote for Obama. I don't have a definite candidate in mind yet, but Ron Paul is leading the pack. But I don't believe in arguing only one side of a debate. I don't feel I can vote for one candidate until and unless I can present an argument for the other side. Then I put them side-by-side and compare. Even if they have the same number of pros and cons, they all have a different weight. Whoever weighs the most, doesn't get my vote. It may be odd, but it's worked for me.

Our continuing involvement in southern Asia and the Middle East weighs the most. He can't seem to find enough brown people to kill. He's going to run out soon and then he'll either kill darker brown or more olive-complected people of sovereign nations.

His continuation of the "The Bill of Rights is for Chumps" Act, also known as the Patriot Act, is second in weight. While our rights were nailed down by Adolph Bush by creating, Herr Obama wipes his feet on the Constitution every second he doesn't repeal it. He has had several chances to do away with it and become a real hero, but he has chosen not to.

Those two alone are inexcusable for me and outweigh the positives he's done in my opinion, which aren't inconsiderable as Outcast Searcher and others have pointed out.

So, now there's no confusion on who I'm leaning towards. But if I bring up a point for Obama, it's an honest point. It doesn't mean I'm going to marry him. I'm an adult and capable of giving credit where it's due. Can anyone else?

I totally agree. If I bring up a point for a candidate (like Obama), it's going to be honest and it doesn't mean that I think "he can do no wrong" (which is clearly what a lot of people think it means).

It's a good thread. It's just that not everyone knows how or wants to play nice.

Merciful euthanasia...

The problem is, the American spirit is so strong that it would refuse to die. We should just be thankful he never had the chance to foist Cap and Trade upon us; he planned on sucking us dry with energy taxes to complete his destruction of the US and remold us into his true love, European socialism. Remember when he took office? Gas prices were around $1.79/gallon. Now they are more than double that. (I shouldn't say that too loudly...it upsets people who really like Obama). What is his solution? To jack up the taxes on oilcos.:shk: That's what a Harvard education gets you when it is handed to you instead of you having to earn it.

Hmm... Can voting for a person with the intent to bring down the US be considered sedition or treason? Maybe DHS will be at my door on election day to ensure I don't vote.

Motive, my good man. Your motive would win fast approval from any American jury, and you'd be acquitted.

Based on what I have observed from my safe seat hear in Canada, I don't believe you will be having elections in 2012. I think Obama and the radicals he has surrounded himself with will precipitate some kind of emergency or crisis and then announce that he is declaring martial law and suspending the constitution. It's a small leap since he is already ignoring your constitution and no one seems to be willing to take him or them to task for fear of being labelled a racist. Obama along with the self hating whites he has surrounded himself with have planned this out very carefully. Many of you will die before it's all over. Bet you didn't even see it coming.

We heard the same 'Sky is Falling' talk in 2004 and 2008. Please, give us some credit!

If you vote to re-elect Barry then you have lost your mind. As an earlier poster mentioned, he wanted cap and trade legislation that would have sunk the economy for good. This guy is trying to ruin the economy of this country so that he can nationalize industry and re-distribute wealth according to socialist dogma. He hates America in his heart, and that is as plain as the nose on his face. Wake up! The liberals have ruined everything they have ever tried to do, and now even they have to wonder just exactly what this guy really wants. If he's not the anti-christ, he's damn close.

I'd vote for Obama because it would be an excellent example of voter fraud.

I'm Canadian and English, not eligible to vote in the USA.

Of all the declared candidates running at the moment, I'd vote for Ron Paul if I were a US citizen, and urge any Americans to do the same.
