A small bomb exploded just outside of Athens, Greece today. There were no injuries and no major damage. The blast took place near an electrical substation; a container of cooking gas was ignited via fuse in a bathroom of a building neighboring the substation.

Greek police have discovered and exploded a bomb outside a Citibank branch in Athens, after an anonymous tip to a newspaper, police said.

"There was a controlled explosion of a bag placed near the Citibank after we were told it would go off in 35 minutes," a police official said.

The device, which police say was made with a cooking gas canister and a triggering fuse, exploded in the bathroom of a building near a substation in the town of Metamorphosi, about 10 kilometers (six miles) north of Athens. No electrical facilities were damaged, a government official told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

According to the official, the culprits broke the bathroom window and dropped the device inside. The damage was discovered by an employee of the state power company

The greeks just released terrorists from the Revolutionary Popular Struggle not to long ago. Im guessing they are probably just going back to business as usual now. You couldn't pay me to go to Athens this year.
