I grew up listening to punk and have played the biggest punk festival in Europe since I was 17

Im more into my sleaze ridden rockn roll now but still play the festival with my old band for a laugh

I came up through the late 70's & 80's
Suburbia...

when i first started listening my association with the sound was this


Now with that said the longer I listened the less it sounded like Punk Rock from my era....

& more like this POP stuff ... blink 182... greenday... offspring

Don't get me wrong dood .... love the message .... love the genre of music....

just a little to over produced to be Punk Rock ....
song runs too long...
the cords are too clean...
the chorus is well meh....

remember Punk Rock is all about F-all attitude
& I just don't get it from your track....

I love punk rock, but I like older style punk, 80's era most.
I grew up in that era and was very influenced by it.
My old punk band from that era released a couple of albums.

I love 70's and 80's punk rock too ^^
Since I wasn't there in most of those years, I only know a couple of bands.

My song is more 90's punk rock, really was aiming for more of the offspring type song, pennywise...

The Descendents! Grew up on punk among other genres but still love it.

Well I guess you could say it's my band, I played all instruments and lyrics too

I did want to say to the OP that I did think his song was very good, and played well, and even the production was good. It's not my personal punk style, but I do think it does fit in with what you were going for. Well done.
