Seems like that could be a possibility, but I would think the Hall of Records, and its corresponding pyramid, would be buried much deeper and wouldn't be so easy to find. Of course, it is claimed by some they are in a sense 'protected'. But then, the Ka only knows.

They are using the same technique in Central America. There the stones "bled" out into the soil to create white marks. All of them have accurately led to findings.

You don't even need the infrared to see the ghostly images if buildings:



Granted the infrared images slow the extent of the site, while the above satellite image (from google maps) only show a few buildings.

Point is there are likely many more buried sites that have yet to be unearthed.
