We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution.
Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans -- born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage, and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.
John F. Kennedy Inaugural Address delivered 20 January 1961

"Revolution was effected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people . . . . This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution."
John Adams, 1818

Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness of the people; and not for profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, the people alone have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government; and to reform, alter, or totally change the same, when their protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness require it.
John Adams, Thoughts on Government, 1776

I, for one, am just super excited that people are beginning to understand what "republic" means. Most kids get out of school not knowing the difference between republic, democracy/oligarchy.

The USA has become a police state. In Texas TSA stopped an anti-groping law - see the protest:

There is always a choice, and for me, I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same!

The pledge and that oath mean as much now to me as they did then. Nothing will waiver my path or stance.

UNITED WE STAND, THE REST IS, NOT AN OPTION!

I do post this under my own free will and accord, to re-affirm, my oaths, that;

I pledge allegiance to my Flag and to the Republic for which it stands one Nation indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.

I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same.

This I swear, and affirm before every one here, as a witness.

Let it be known, those who knew, tried...

Always ahead of the times, I look back on my earlier posts wondering, how have things not improved...

Ignorance, that's the problem people don't want to deny it they thrive in it, just look around and see for yourself.

More now than when I first posted this, I see even more generations lost to ignorance, self induced ignorance at that. People don't know or want to.

What are you, waiting for?

I served my Country twice, Active Duty enlistment in the US Army. Deployed to Iraq in 2007 during the surge as a volunteer.

I haven't waited for anything, I go and do.

What's your excuse?

I feel it still stands as one nation, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

And despite how polarizing the politicking is getting just as Obama was elected and then reelected so can Trump. If a Democrat gets in, a Republican will follow.

It will swing like a pendulum continuously within the artificial frame. Even if that changes to calling itself Nationalist and Socialist the two pole system will remain.

I don't see subversion of this concept. It saved Trump from articles of impeachment. The check of The Senate saved him. And if the dems win back both they will quickly lose both again. Or one, gain a President, and then lose both.

And back and forth checking and balancing the true tyrant from ermerging, lest the dissenting states file articles of secession, which would happen without that mitigating bicameral balance.

Death will still come to the tyrant, and tyrannical party motives so long as every vote is counted. If it loses that dissolution of The United States will follow.

Call me an optimist on that one.
