Among all the past Presidents in United States history who would you elect to handle our current financial, political, national, foreign policy, and social situation?

Thomas Jefferson
Andrew Jackson
Abraham Lincoln
Theodore Roosevelt
Woodrow Wilson
Calvin Coolidge
Franklin Roosevelt
Dwight Eisenhower
John Kennedy
Ronald Reagan
Bill Clinton
Other ____________________

Also if you could elect one current or previous leader from another country (President, Prime Minister, etc...) to handle our current financial, political, national, foreign policy, and social situation, who would it be?

My Opinion

1. Theodore Roosevelt
2. Benjamin Disraeli

I would have say Kennedy.

The world has changed so much since Kennedys time but I think he was on to something, maybe everything, with full diclosure.

America is at a place and time now that it seems like disclosure is important...just my opinion.

i have no clue

the fact of the matter is if we had 24/7 media and the internet and the nonstop character assisnations our our elected throughout history.

the good leaders would be considered bad and the bad ones considered to be good.

kind like the current political climate.

doesnt matter who we elect as long as the corrupt system exists.

the only solution really is to fire every single leader of this country and start over.

no lawyers
no career politicans.
no bankers.

no idiots.

Hey friend -

You're definitely more versed in this than I am so please don't laugh at my picks, but I would probably have to go with Jefferson and Mohandas Gandhi.

Take care

I was going to say Kennedy as well. To get yourself offed by the CIA, you've gotta be doing something right. His personal life aside, he managed his office well, but since his legacy was cut short its impossible to say if we would have been an infallible choice for our current fiasco.
One thing I will say is; he was probably the last elected president, making him the last president in the line that I'd trust.

But we're talking about actually being able to "elect" a person. Seems like a dream you can barely remember once you wake.

1. Nixon
2. Putin

Tell me they couldn't handle both the domestic and foreign situation for the US! An old Klingon proverb states, "Only Nixon could go to China."

Putin would be a great Secretary of State, still running the show back home, but making sure our "allies" were keeping our best interests.
