The idea of a "youth rebellion" is disturbing.

I've found people my age--even those in college with me who were supposedly intelligent--rather lacking in both real world experience and in critical thinking skills. College is cram-school now, and doesn't enhance one's thinking skills.

When I think about my classmates I find it very, deeply disturbing that they would be the ones reshaping society. They are ignorant of the world, fail at logic, and have an unjustifiable sense of entitlement. Their narcissism feeds their Utopian pipe-dreams because they feel cheated when their sense of entitlement clashes with reality. They lash out at the first targets their unoriginal minds can conjure up, such as "the system."

There is no system but they destroy everything to take it down.

Yeah...This movement is very dangerous and people are not mature enough to understand what this all means.

How would the people warning against revolution remove us from this lopsided and competitive environment? How would you defeat those who pay for power and pit us against each other? How would you abolish a well to do minority network that controls a down trodden majority through fear and a carrot? How would you reach all those who are suffering because they think this is as good as it gets? Where is the other platform?

Its not just the young I am 52 and grew up in construction then got into computers. spent over 25 years as a computer tech and network admin. I have been out of work for over two years in that field now. So what am I doing now? I am doing masonry, handyman, yard clean ups fencing, and construction work etc. Even metal detecting for gold and silver jewlry, trying to record some songs to see if i can sell them also. The construction/handyman market is beat down also with the real estate crash. So after over 35 years of working hard I have nothing to show for it but several mortgages and a bunch of debt. Luckily my wifes job is still intact for now or we would have lost everything by now.

I don't want a job working for someone anymore I want deregulation so I can start a business without the government (local state and federal) stealing most of the fruits of my labor through licenses, fees, permits, and taxes. They and the bankers have killed the economy and continue to stick the knife in deeper and turn it around. You can't force employers to pay you more and give you more benefits they are having enough trouble staying in business and that is exactly what putting most of them out of business. You want better conditions and economy GET GOVERNMENT OUT OF IT!

Viva la revolution!

Yes, the government's income should be through competition in food, housing, clothing, transportation, and other necessities. The government would have the means to coordinate production and distribution to high efficiency. This will reduce the work week and increase the pay for government employees. I feel any government's responsibility is to insure every homosapien has necessities and leisure time.

There is no way, nor reason to abolish the free market. Life is more than necessities.

You seem to believe that government is the only problem and that our markets represent freedom. What many right-wing Libertarians such as yourself fail to realize is that, regardless of the government, the economic system is inherently oppressive/tyrannical in and of itself. The markets, along with governments, represent a conjoined monster that tyrannizes both the masses of humanity and the ecosystems of the planet. Without government you still will not be free, please consider economic tyrannies more deeply:

Maybe it's time to RE-IGNITE revolutionary Spain and advance the Anarchist/Socialist causes that were stomped out by the fascists back in the 1930's!

..... But I'm confused..... it sounds like you are not in France?? Am I mistaken? I mean the real estate crash and all that which didn't happen here....in France you would be living off your retirement now, going on cruises and such.
The idea of losing that retirement (90% of your salary at time of retirement) in a revolution would probably not make you hurry to join the younguns in destroying the system. Especially if they have no plan for a new system of government they want to install, they just plan on throwing out the present one and........?

Rubbish. You in Europe do not know how good you have it. Guaranteed health care as a right, 6 weeks paid vacation as a right in France. Protected retirement. Excellent train service. Good, clean food. Grown up attitudes about sex. Etc.

Only problem and it is a classic French problem...the population is too whiny. Other than that I'll take modern France ANY day over the U.S.

Yet we all have no future in this system.
Retirement protected? The elderly will pay with their pension funds, that was on TV here in the Netherlands(economic crisis). Healthcare? If you go to the dentist, you pay, if you visit the drugstore you pay? The first 260euro are for us, above healthcare will pay. I never use the doctor, so I only pay and pay.
Good train service?, Our trainservice pays ticket after ticket, by not providing the service year after year.

Clean food? I have to go out of town to buy fluoride free toothpaste, I have to find an Arabic store for my fruit and meat. Imported from their own country. Biologic. Can not buy bread without gmo and pudding without GMO in the store. So I have to get that somewhere else to.

I have bin to Africa and meet the Masai. tribe. They have nothing, yet in the morning until bedtime, they laugh and have great fun. You know why? They can live in the moment, without thinking about making money to pay the next bill

I wish you luck, but understand that in my country - England - immigration is one of the primary problems that needs sorting out for my country to be free again. I stress that it is not the immigrants themselves but rather the government who welcomes as many as possible to use as a battering ram against our culture, welfare and liberty.

I am not right-wing, and issues of immigration are themselves not right-wing. We have a small piece of land which is now one of the most overcrowded in the world. You and your fellow comrades may feel that immigration is not a problem where you are - that's great! But England can never be free and prosperous again whilst unlimited immigration continues.

The New Word Order bankers and Globalists use mass-immigration as one of their most powerful tools for enslavement and the destruction of (positive) old values.
