Actually, if you remember the plot of the movie, the "game- The Last Starfighter" was nothing more than "a simulator" very much what the Mil. and even Nasa uses... and what a better way than to recruit from the population by using a simulator to show how "cool" a pilot is...

Or if you remember that crappy movie Robin Williams was in "Toys", get a bunch of kids together and make them think they are playing video games, but in reality they are flying missions.

Now that I think about it, I wonder who at Langley the CIA Headquarters are actually flying the drones?
