Looks like the con trail of a plane lit by either the rising or setting Sun.

I'm here in Auckland & look North towards the Sky Tower (in the video) and haven't seen anything out of place.

I do know planes head off that direction.

It sure looks awesome though.

Looks pretty normal to me.. the contrail is just catching the light of the sun, nothing unusual there.. am I missing something perhaps?

I just spoke to Colleen Thomas and she confirms it is a Paladean ship - which I have to say makes a lot of sense.

Interesting video. Seems like the motion it may have been displaying is lost in the fact it seemed quite far from the camera. Way to be on the spot, OP.

FINALLY someone uses a tripod to record a "UFO", unfortunately it looks to be just a contrail lit by the setting sun.

The man says that this thing appears in the sky every evening at about 5:30pm. Perhaps, our friends in Auckland can observe the sky for us in the coming days and let us know what they see.

That video is positive proof of the total LACK of credibility of "Russia Today".

Tarnishes them, with incontrovertible evidence. Good show.

And, yes......the "anomoly" (sic) is an airliner contrail, illuminated by the setting Sun.

Oh, and BTW.....if anyone paid attention to that video and "interview" with Colleen...and the subject ("My eyes are up here, sir!"), one would have noticed that the topic was the long-ago (but similar misidentification) of the airplane contrail off the coast of California, USA near Los Angeles. (Along with a load of batspit crazy nonsense, to boot. Highly entertaining...).

I have to say, I do like to listen to RT for several guests. However, CT is not one of them and I think you are quite right - why would they - in a million years - put her on TV? She is obviously "out there," to put it nicely. You do have to wonder about credibility with a guest like that.

This is why we can't have nice things.

It's been a bit rainy so it took a few days.

I can confirm that this was a contrail of a passenger jet being lit by the setting Sun.

I have just seen one yesterday, looking in roughly the same direction.
