Super volcano in Turkey?

HI all!
for more then tree day there is some significant earthquake activity in central Turkey.
They not that big but could be a sign for volcano activity.

I know there is NO known super volcano in this area, still... I can remember a discovery TV documentation on an super volcano that exploded like 200.000 years ago or so in this area...

These are the only super volcanos I know of:

Australia & New-Zealand- New Zealand North Island

Lake Toba 8 Indonesian- Archipelago Indonesia Northern Sumatra .

Whakamaru 8 Australia & New-Zealand New Zealand North Island

Yellowstone Caldera 8 North-America USA (Pacific Region) State of Wyoming

Island Park Caldera 8 North-America USA (Pacific Region) State of Idaho

La Garita Caldera 8 North-America USA (Pacific Region) State of Colorado

Ahh, I thought a volcano had to be an 8 to be a super volcano but it seems I am wrong.

Hey if you would like to know more about the earthquake activity in this area try out this website tells you all eathquakes that are recorded, it is updated all the time and allso says excatly were it is and what the magnitude is earthquake.usgs.gov... it also has many other earthquake facts and information

The Turkey quakes could be connected with a volcano, there is alot of activity in Greece also and they have tons of underwater volcanos. Also remember hearing somewhere that the recent earthquake in Spain was connected to Italy and mound etna. Not sure...

I posted on the 20th amy about activity in Turkey.... there seems to be alot going on here although the area is known for lots of action.

All the activity there suggests to me there is something giong on...

Europe also has the Campi Flegrei ( beneath the Vesuvius). There's one in Japan, the Aira caldera ( near Mount Sakurajima) and another one in the USA, Long Valley in California.
