The hognose snake is one of my favorites. They almost never bite humans but they will bump you with their nose. They can also expand there hood and
look somewhat like a cobra. They also have a mild venom, but the bites are generally the equivalent of a bee sting. But the coolest thing to me, is
that when they really get frightened, they put on a show and play dead.

And I agree with you about all the little bins. I understand that it is probably the most economical way to breed snakes, especially on that scale,
but It sure doesn't seem like an ideal life for the snakes. Breeders will tell you though, that snakes actually prefer darker and smaller habitats,
because in the wild they spend most of their time hiding. This is true to an extent. A lot of snakes will stress out and not eat if their enclosure
is too large. I bought my corn snake a half of a coconut shell for it to hide in, but it wouldn't go in until I took some crumpled up paper and
stuffed it in there. They like to tuck themselves into the tightest spots, where they feel safe. I thought about breeding for awhile, but I
personally couldn't keep them in tubs like that. I want to give my animals the best habitat possible.
