This is my youngest cat Muffin. She was adopted last year on 9/11/11.

That's one of our goldfish "Goldie" in the tank. He's since been transfered to a bigger tank and we have five goldfish and a sucker fish in there all total.

I have another black cat, Smokey but, she's camera shy. She turned 13 years old this year. We've had her a long as we've been married. We used to have two of her brothers but they died a while back.

Nice thread....Just found it. Some awsome companions you all have shared. Ill share.

Here is my dog Bounce. Half Lab half pig.......

My cats Bruskey (Left) Tiger (Right)

Got in a fight, had a cone on and was pretty pissed off. The timing of this pic is awsome. I also colored his eyes lol.

Lol, bounce in mid lick. I took this from a 40ft Genie Lift.

Well....I'm moving today, and today is the last trip. I am a nervous wreck because my cats have never lived anywhere except this house....I know it will be traumatic for them. I hope it won't be too bad but ....uggggh...not looking forward to this. Any advice on moving with cats?

Move the cats first before you move in anything else. Put them in a basement or spare room with their food and a litter box. Keep that room locked or blocked off until you have everything inside the house and won't be opening the door anymore, no matter how much they cry to be let out. You don't want them getting loose in a strange neighborhood.

Once you're all moved in, let them loose and allow them to explore their new homes in their own time. Don't force them out or try to steer them on where to go (with the exception of the litter box; show them where it is going to be after they become confortable leaving the initial room you put them into). The cats will explore the new place in their own time and get used to it fairly quickly.

I wouldn't let any of them outside for at least 2 weeks so they know this is their new home and they don't try going back to the old place.

Good luck.
