What on earth is the "Seed eater"?

I've heard it everywhere all of the sudden. Facebook groups that share discussion of what I assume is some cryptid called the Seed eater.... Post on multiple forums...

Yet any info on this has eluded me.

Anyone have ANY clue to what this is all about?

I am the seed eater.

I honestly thought a "seed eater" was someone that enjoyed sunflower seeds.

Other than that...I have no idea.

The Seed Eater is a strange humanoid being. It wears a rag mask that has one eye hole cut out for it the other one seems to be stitched. It goes after small children presumably to eat them or possibly to turn them into Seed eaters. They appear only at night and rarely attack, the habitat they live in is usually a secluded forest never in a populated area. The only time someone survived a attack from a Seed Eater was a boy with a bat beat the monster and ran but the boy never said another word he now lives in a basement guarded 24/7. It is unknown how they are made or what they are made from.

Sounds like another Cloverfield to me.

Er, I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or providing information. If this is indeed what the "seed eater" is, than please provide a link to more in-depth reading. Any first hand accounts floating round out there? Any more info on this boy who lived?
