HI Guys,

I'm in morley uk -its 08:45 in the morning - and theres something strange happning

It's nice and sunny - hot even - the sky is blue with no cluds yet it is raining, not normal rain more like loads of tiny droplets floating about on the breeze, never seen anything like it, has anyone else?
edit on 22-5-2011 by greeny122229 because: p.s. when it lands it vanishes as no water on car, and even though i feel it hitting my skin every so often there is no drop, weird!!!!

Welcome to Scotland!

No honestly is nothing mysterious we get it all the time. Rain is merely water vapour condensing out of the atmosphere. Enough water vapour and you have a cloud. Please please don't start yet another conspiracy for a well known phenomena that you have only just witnessed for the first time.

Hard to be certain, without actually seeing this, but I can think of 2 possible causes.

1. Sweat
2. Humidity

Fair enough - case closed - think it's cause we don't get many sunny hot morning in the uk
so wouldn't see this often.

It may be seen often in Scotland. We only hear about it in America.
