I am sorry for the delay in replying to you post.

The "Film at 11" is what local 6pm News plugs would say to get you to also watch the news at 11pm back in the 60's, 70's, 80's but kinda faded out in the 90's with the advent of video-camcorder.

Basically, it is just a joke since Harold Camping stated that the "END" was at 6pm.
