Unknown chemical found in Choctaw Creek, Clinton water safe to drink

The mayor of Clinton says barrels they recovered from Choctaw Creek in Clinton did contain a chemical but is not contaminating their water supply. This creek does feed into their county water treatment facility, but the water for the city is safe to drink.

Friday afternoon officials were to test what chemical is in the creek water. ADEQ says they will issue a statement as soon as they learn something.

If you still keep drinking tap water in Clinton after this report, you are just nuts.

You are sooo right. I think people are so freaked out in the south, that this has missed their radars.
