I am glad you changed that, since it was an outright lie.

What are you talking about ?

please tell me you aren't going to be that dishonest. You erased the part of your post that said G was for Saturn and 666. I have no interest in latin, but I do have a strong aversion to BS.

And the sun is not the same as the letter G. If you want to act as a masonic knowledge base, please gain some knowledge first. The sun is one of the representatives of three lesser.

No.. it has nothing to do with the word Dominca? I can't even imagine where you got that?

Deus is the root word for God in Romantic languages.

Again , where ?

Everywhere.

It is sometimes depicted with rays of light around it, this is representation of Light, which is a representation of wisdom/illumination.

I erased it out of other principles, mine alone, don't ask why, and I did not say it was for Saturn, I said it was in relation to.

Yea right.

actually the letter G represents a spiral, the shape of our galaxy.

our alphabets were all pictograms in its origin.

for example 6 and 9 are the human fetus, skull and spine.

we spend 9months as a 9, and come out as a 6 with rare exceptions.

No, it's related to our solar system.
The sun is always in the middle, it's the beauty of everything in some cultures.

no.

our sun is a drop in an ocean of suns.

thats a narrow view, some cultures could see past that.

and they also knew what is above matches that bellow.

therefore of a fractal nature.

our exact problem is that, we want to always pinpoint a center and give it importance.

when everything in the universe has the same importance.

Do you know what the sun inside the square and compass represents? I didn't think so.
As I said, if you want to talk as if you know about masonry, please educate, before you masticate.

you will like this:

Origin of MASTICATE Late Latin masticatus, past participle of masticare, from Greek mastichan to gnash the teeth; akin to Greek masasthai to chew — more at mandible First Known Use: 1562

The square and compass and the sun in the middle, it's how I see it, I have the right to an opinion. It's my opinion that it's the way it is.

that's fine, as long as you aren't trying to get others to believe you might actually know something about it.
You may remain in fantasy land as long as you would like. And remember, there is no shame in asking instead of assuming.

The Sun in the middle is entirely different than the G in the middle. Both are Masonic symbols, and both have symbolic meaning......to Masons. Neither one is "always" in the middle.

If you are curious, and you are of good standing and clean character, then just join a Lodge and it will all be explained to you.

There seems to be a contradiction already between you and your masonic friend.

how do you figure. I am sure he knows the meaning. In fact, I would bet money on it seeing as how he has sat in the east as an elected master. As I said, if you want to know, just ask.

I just read back through all of his posts, and I don't see any disagreement. He only asked you if you knew that the sun represented.

And for the record, the G doesn't even always represent exactly the same thing. It is described in one manner as an Entered Apprentice and in other manners later on. Sometimes it is illuminated, sometimes not. Sometimes the G stands alone, and sometimes it is inside the Compasses. Sometimes inside the Compasses there is a Sun instead of a G. It is all so symbolic and mysterious isn't it.

Obviously, we can't give you the whole story here, if you truly want to know, then pony up and go find a Lodge, put in some work and earn the right to know.
