I wonder if people agree or disagree that a seismic weapon is even possible.
I'll start by saying always thought people who blamed HAARP for causing earthquakes were a little daft. I thought HAARP definitely had some ulterior purpose to do with project bluebeam and sky imagery but not sure what else.

Reading a book written in 1981called The Montauk Fault by Herbert Mitgang. It is a work of fiction but discusses a seismic weapon. About the book (still reading it)

This caused me to wonder if it (seismic/ earthquake producing weapon) was even possible
and when I searched for more information - found there was very little.
Almost as if information had been scrubbed which of course piqued my curiosity and inspired me to begin a thread on it. Seismic weapons. Possible?

Here is what little information I could gather outside of specific HAARP related threads and websites. Some websites repeat information but I tried to be as inclusive and objective as possible. A limited number of ATS threads were started but interest waned quickly - or people were thrown off tracks...? or quickly diverted...? Surprising since I think the topic is a conspiracy to end all conspiracies... if true.

Yes, seismic weapons do exist and the United States, among others, has them.

I imagine that seismic weapons are (at least as of now) an impossibility. A seismic weapon would probably work like a bunker buster bomb, only it would need to penetrate miles into the ground to be effective, a capability we don't have currently.

HAARP definitely is not causing earthquakes, though.

I'd say it is possible to build some kind of seismic weapon in theory. I'd think it impossible in practice though; I just don't think we are technologically near the point where we can generate the tremendous energies necessary to manipulate the earth on that scale.

Hey if teleportation and time&space folding is possible, seismic weapons sound much easier to do.

So do you think Project Seal is a cover for something else entirely or a bogus report of a bogus project? Trouble with that is those alleged de-classified documents. The guy named above supposedly already created this and was detonated in the Aucklands so if these reports are true (which I think is the real question for the time being) it is not only possible but... Been there, done that.

In the book BOTH the US and Russia have this capability,
it is what keeps us from exerting undue power over the other
and in theory anyway THIS IS what is meant by MAD.

HAARP sends radio waves up into the ionosphere to heat it up. Are they able to redirect those waves back at the ground at specific targets?

I heard that the population of China is so large that if they all jumped into the air at the same time it would cause an earthquake when they landed.

But thus far our weapons can't create those faults.

I'm willing to bet the military is looking into seismic weapons, but putting them into practice would have too many ethical issues (if it's even possible to make a seismic weapon; we see the same issues with geo-engineering - it's part of the reason that geo-engineering is still very theoretical and not being put into practice).

I know I didn't think so either but the fault lines are already there. This cause and effect might be similar to a sneeze and an avalanche under the right set of conditions and or circumstances.
