But did the cold war really ever finish -or was it just a thaw ?

While Russia complains about the missile shield,it forgets to mention its own deployment escalations of S300s on its borders.
It also forgets to mention the massive increases on defence spending which include upgrades of its stockpiles.

The suggestion of sharing radars and early warning systems could offer some credibility,but note the comments from the Russian general-there has to be trust.
This is probably the crux of things......there has NEVER been any trust between the USA and Russia,and probably never will be nomatter how many times the reset buttons are pressed.

Russia also conducted a second nuclear missile test in a month recently.
