Mike Huckabee dissed birthers on Leno tonight.
He also suggested we hold elections on an American Idol model.
He also says Ron Paul's audience is a combination of gun show and Greatful Dead concert.

To me it means that Huckabee is happy where he is right now. He is making big bucks and has an established base from which to continue his impact on the national politic. Trump is the same. They will sit on the sidelines and take pot shots at whomever they wish with little repercussion.
