No , you are the one who needs a history lesson. Israel did not attack first. Infact before she was ressurrected she was attacked.
The british , unable to find an acceptable solution by both the jews and arabs in terms of borders ,wanted to withdraw from the mandate of
palestine(JUDEAH). So the United Nations Intervened and approved the partition plan for palestine. It divided the country into two states , one jewish
, one arab.
The jews accepted the plan;the arabs
and muslims did not. On December 1, 1947 the AHC or Arab Higher Committee proclaimed a three day strike and Arab-muslim bands began attacking
. Innitially on the defence the jews gradually pushed back the attackers and went on the offensive. This Civil war led to the colapse of the
Muslim economy(Rothschild reprisal) and around 300,000 palestinian muslims fled or were expelled (from the jewish mandate).
May 14 , 1948 one day
before the end of the british mandate in palestine(JUDEAH) , the Jewish Agency proclaimed independence , Israel and Judeah was reborn. Not one day
after , the armies of four major arab countries;Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq—attacked Israel.Countries hundreds of times larger than the spit of
land that Israel was and still today is , the 1948 Arab–Israeli War or Israeli war of Independence was on. All for declaring independence with what
Britain left them. Reminds me of Haiti and how the Europeans treated it after their declaration of independence. Oh , if Haiti had had a navy back
then , but that is for another discussion. Israel feared a Middle Eastern reenactment of the Holocaust. This was total war. After a year of fierce
fighting a ceasefire was declared but not before the illegal annexation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem by Jordan , which was veiwed as null and
void by many nations even the Arab League as these were still part of the Palestinian Mandate, jews had'nt even occupied it. Jordan just wanted to
expand and the war was a good excuse to do so. Egypt took the gaza strip , which was all that was left of the palestinian" partition by the time
jordan , gypt , israel and sundry had declared ceasefire.
The Egyptian government restricted movement to and from the Gaza Strip, most Gazans could not look elsewhere for
employment. In 1955, an uknown member of the United Nations Secretariat noted that "For all practical purposes it would be true to say that for the
last six years in Gaza over 300,000 poverty stricken people have been physically confined to an area the size of a large city park." This was all
under the administration of egypt when they had controll over the strip. Israel was accepted as a member of the United Nations by majority vote on May
11, 1949. Now to make this clear to you , during the civil war of 1947-1948 the jews did not annex any of the palestinian mandate. They merely held
onto thier mandate and drove out hostiles. Doubt me , look at any map with the original mandates and you'll see 70% of Israel today is the original
mandates , but in ensueing uprovoked attacks and beligerencies , land has been occupied and annexed in the name of survival and strategic defence.
Notice how they gave back the Sinai(Sin eye or seein eye) it's totally a nightmare to defend and mostly arid while they kept the Golan hieghts with
it's high ground and mountainous terrain and is also fertile soil and provides israel with water.
To address the war of 1967 , Egypt blockaded the Straits of Tiran
and cut off Israeli shipping and had massive troop build ups in the sinai with veteran troops of riflemen and tanks from the yemeni civil war and were
buying the latest in fighter-jet and bombers from russia .Gamal Abdel Nasser was spewing hitlerian rhetoric akin to the Haulocost with speeches of
"Driving the state of Israel into the sea and wiping them off the map". Syria and Jordan were doing likewise only thier borders were closer to
Israel and they were visually amassing huge military camps around them. Mossad intelligence confirmed what was blatently obvious it was not if they
were going to attack but when. And as usual whenever Israel is attacked all muslims wherever they are come near come far , join in that most repugnant
of all human endeavours "holy war" , the filthy "Jihad". So tell me if you were in Israels position at that point in history would you have waited
and be torn apart , overrun from all fronts. Or would you have attacked first giving you the element of surprise and the momentum , after all the
arabs were itching for a war , Israel just gave it to them before they had finished up their battle formations. 1967 could have been the year of the
second Haulocost if they had waited and I know in my heart of hearts many of you would'nt have batted an eye or shed a tear. Even up to today some of
you would even say they got what they deserved "dirty jew", you see that's why I believe Israel does what it does;it's damned if it does and
damned if it don't. When you put someone in that position the simple solution is to do as they please and be damned , at least they are happy.
To be honest though if I were
leader of Israel today I would have no qualms with going back to the 1967 borders , after the six day war. But they already gave back the sinai which
was a smart move , it's mostly arid and in 2005 pulled out of Gaza. What , still no peace? Silly me , Allah=Muhamud=Jihad=Endless war and suffering
