TA-ANALYSIS: Will the Real Abu Hafs Al-Masri Brigade Please Stand Up

A new statement from the Al-Qaeda linked terrorist group, repeated threats to european countries with forces in Iraq, but denied issuing the threat to Italy that it had 15 days to leave Iraq. Identifying what threat is real and what is fake is becoming difficult in regards to this group.



So far only threats and nothing to back it up, while these conflicting threats are taken seriously, one has to wonder if the terrorists are using the media to keep the threatened countries on a razor's edge and waiting until security begins to ease before making an attack.

I am getting confuse here, what I am seen now is too many groups sprouting and using Al-queda to link to.

Could it be that the Al-queda is becoming disbanded and now these groups are becoming independent from each other? And they either acting on their own or are not communicating with each other.
