Our reason for being here is to learn, and the purpose of our life is to love. There is always hope even in the darkest reaches.
Some learn faster and discover what love is more quickly than others because we're unique yet all equal at the same time. Impart wisdom unto others
if you're ahead of them, so that they too can catch up to you. When you learn to hold hands or even learn to carry those who are struggling, then
surely... you are practicing that very love you have learned, and you walk in love, and you are love, and those around you will see it too because
someone filled with light shines upon the whole world. If everyone shined, where can darkness hide? If it cannot hide, then hope is not required any
longer because we have all become the most gracious rays of hope: love. And where love is, there is no suffering, only a paradise of happiness. This
is heaven made here - quite possibly our ultimate goal as humans on Earth.
One day when we all make it so, we may move on to help other beings in the universe to do the same thing. The struggle is life, and the wonderful
contrast between pain and pleasure. If one feels pain, then pleasure feels that much better to him, but if he is only filled with one or the other, he
will never understand the difference. The middle path in life is what we should strive for, not one extreme or the other extreme. It's easy to cling
to extremes, but it's difficult to walk that narrow middle road where one must practice unconditional love and compassion to traverse. When we trip
and fall, we find ourselves clinging to an extreme, and that clinging leads to more suffering.
Let go.
Jesus didn't follow our ideologies, he walked the road of unconditional love and chose no sides except the side of love, which is in between: the
middle-ground we can all choose and coexist peacefully upon. When we do this, the extremes melt away and only one thing is left, making everything
clear to us. In Oneness we will truly understand, but while we have borders, politics, segregation in faith and beliefs... we are split apart and
dwell in the ignorance of the material world. Tear the walls down and hug your brothers and sisters on the other side.
I'm happy to hold your hand in all this, and even if you spit on my face, my hand will remain out-stretched for you. Will you do the same for me and
the next person whoever it may be?
