the best thing about this clock and I've been thinking this for years now, is that if something really happens like a nuclear bomb or something like that, that damn clock will always be late!

I wouldnt doubt that. What Time Zone is it set would be another good question to ask these people.

So that means we are currently at 6 mins to midnight, not one. 11:54

"Doomsday Clock" moves one minute away from midnight 14 January 2010 Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists Adjusts Clock From 5 to 6 Minutes Before Midnight; Encouraging Progress Seen Around Globe in Both Key Threat Areas: Nuclear Weapons and Climate Change.

They had to do something. They were running out of clock to freak people out with.

They actually moved it one minute further away...not to 1 min before midnight.
so they actually said its getting better, not worse, they didnt move it closer.

to move the minute hand of the Doomsday Clock back from five to six minutes to midnight. By shifting the hand back from midnight by only one additional minute

so its not the closest its been.
not having a dig, it was hard to see that from the sensationalized title of the article.
its further down the page they tell us this.

Its not set to any time zone, its just a prop to show world tensions,
with midnight being the darkest hour so to speak.

My bad, i should've known. But with al this talk of Obama wanting to sign orders on the insistancy of world war and now Russia ticked off it seems odd the clock would be getting further away. Ah what does it matter its all just another illusion anyways.

With everything happening in the world, It would make more sense to me to move it closer. But I am not a PTB, so what do I know?

I cant believe this silliness still exists. The same people that are controlling this 'clock' are the ones that tell us to move along, nothing to see here when there is clearly something to see. Its just like the color system for terrorism. Worthless and idle nonsense.
