Truly amazing, thanks. Now they should do some from space, or of the moon and other celestial objects.

Just think, our buddies at space command have been
zooming in and spilling their coffee on resolutions
like these since the 1990's.

TOTAL BS

From the link in the OP had you bothered to look

The camera is a Canon 5D mkII with an 400-mm lens with duplicator also by Canon, which is equivalent to 800 mm of focal distance.

To edit the definite 9,750 images we basically needed two things: on the one hand, a powerful computer and on the other hand an editing software which is able to make the most of the computer power. The chosen computer was a PC with two 6-core Xeon processors, 40-gigabyte RAM and 8-terabyte HDD. We chose the renowned Autopano Giga software which had proved to be a very powerful tool in similar projects.

Ok, I wonder if it's possible to do the same for the moon by attaching a similar camera to a good telescope? What would be the result? (Where photography is concerned I'm clueless!!)

"Then we can see if there’s something really out there and put to rest the conspiracies once and for all!"

The problem is THEY already know there is something out there and THEY are not telling us.
Just because they can see it better will not change that. Unless that technology gets out of government hands into the little rich guys hands.

If China knows there are alien things n the Moon and Mars, they are not going to tell us for the very same reason the US will not tell us.

People do not want to give up their position of power.

Great photo though and thanks for the view.
