I prefer the 70 Gigapixel - Budapest.

There are certainly more interesting views I think.

Incredible, but scary!

Can you imagine this technology being used on a massive scale, like cctv?

I love science and technology, but something about the rate in which it evolves is worrying.

Because I also love mystery and my privacy.

Can you imagine a world where everything is explained by science? Love is a chemical reaction that can be switched on or off, perfect music fro any mood is created through complex mathematical equations and computers...

Can you imagine a world where you cannot be alone? Where you cannot walk out under the twilight sky, atop a silhouetted tor at the edge of a wilderness, without someone watching you?

You kind of accept, and accept, the idea that you are being watched if you live in a city. In central London, it is estimated that on average a person is caught on CCTV at least 350 times a day.

It's only a matter of time before you cannot go anywhere without being constantly watched by the state, and I fear that this amazing technology will be harnessed largely to that advantage, surveillance.

But despite my concerns, I still feel a pang of joy and satisfaction when I zoom in on someone from a mile away and see that they have a blue pen.

So, there you are! We already had 'Star Trek' technology in the 80s!! It's 2011 now. Wonder what they've got and what they're doing behind the scenes??

Do I find it "cool"? No.

Sickening, offensive, degrading, invasive, imposing, immodest, immoral, disturbing, violating, nervy, and scary? Yes.

Ok, now I'm creeped out!!!!

Lmao you have entirely too much time on your hand.
Good find though.

"edit" forgive my ignorance but is that the burger king guy?
