in frames 73 to 91 you can just make out the steam blowing to the right in small gusts, its a bit darker then the snow, and comes from the same place on the roof.
ive searched the rest of the site, they dont archive the webcam, so if we wait 24 hours untill the next days images and it looks the same when the lights come on, then we can be a bit more informed.

lol, excuse me for attempting to push people into improving the quality of their posts. and guess what, no one tought me how to embed stuff or make gifs. Did that all my own thank you.

so actually, no, I will continue to push people to put more work into their threads. Unlike you im not content with mediocrity. If it were up to people like you, we'd still be cavemen

Nor should you be content with mediocrity. Since you seem to value excellence might I suggest a site for you?

www.tc.umn.edu...

I would suggest starting with capitalization and punctuation and then just go wild from there.

Just trying to help you improve your post.

As for the video, very interesting. When taken frame by frame, you can see the fire or explosion building inside until it blows out the top. Also, anyone else notice the vehicle that appears in one frame and is gone the next? Now if this is in 10 second increments, it came and went quickly. If it were a 10 minute frame rate, then the explosion inside is moving too slowly to actually be an explosion. Also, watch the date at the top. It actually goes from the 17th to the 16th as it progresses. These are just a couple of oddities to explore.

If that makes you feel proud, then go for it. Maybe it would be more helpful if you actually gave a tip or a bit of advice though, instead of just whining.

I have been looking at the link you posted and each frame is about 10 secs apart.

I think it is 10 minutes between each frame.

06:40 UTC (41/144) This is the last frame.

06:50 UTC (42/144) This is the first frame.

Frame 1/144 is 10 minutes after frame 144/144. Frame 1 is not the beginning.

15:40

15:50

I can't tell exactly what this is. Is it 2 different camera's? It goes from color to black & white, but also you can see a shift. So either somebody changed a setting, and moved the camera slightly, or it is 2 different cameras (which is probably more likely).

It switches back to color between these 2- 09:40 UTC (59/144). & 09:50 UTC (60/144)

Ok. It seems to have refreshed, or updated. I am not sure yet, what all has changed, but I am still going to post this anyways.

Mediocrity? Are you serious?! HAA you think very highly of yourself don't you? Please get over yourself. I am one who alerts threads like crazy for one line posts and a link but this thread is a video and NO information online. I know because I have been looking so I can help the OP.

You can help people with their posts instead of being rude, BIG difference.

wow what a useless post of yours. pulling out the old grammar nazi routine. original!
but heres the thing, I dont have the time or want to have perfect punctuation and grammar on a CONSPIRACY FORUM. There are much more important things to be concerned with than that.

thanks for playing though

so, your saying there is no other information on this base?

you mean the OP couldnt have given us some background on the base and what it does? lol its funny you dont even acknowledge this in your post. nice try at sliding it by, but now, the OP could have done tons more work on this thread.

no whining
just trying to push people into making better threads. and no one helped me learn to do it. and actually there are threads that explain how to do these things.

also, to make a gif is not very hard. they have programs for that. Hell they even have websites for that.

What I see is a steam plume in front of a sodium light. The brightest part of the "fire" is directly in front of the light source, outwardly dimming to each side of it, A flame would have a more even distribution of brightness.

I could be wrong, but that's what I make of it.

I happen to agree. I think those are plumes of steam we are seeing in front of the light. Wouldn't flames be shaped, well, like flames (pointier) and not plumes of smoke?

I suppose I thought I could gently point you towards the hypocrisy you were exhibiting, I was wrong. So, if I understand you right, there could have been a lot more work put into the post by the OP. I will agree with that, but then you turn around and say you don't have the time to waste working on grammar and punctuation for a lowly conspiracy website. Perhaps the OP feels the same. Or, perhaps you should stop holding others to a higher standard than you hold yourself. Now, I do not use perfect grammar, but I try to at least make my posts readable. When I see someone who puts so little effort into organizing and conveying their own thoughts it makes me wonder if it is worth consideration. For future reference, it would help your self-righteous position if you were to not write like you are functionaly illiterate. Thank you for playing.

Here is some information on what goes on at this particular station:

Neumayer-Station III, also known as Neumayer III after geophysicist Georg von Neumayer, is a German South pole research station of the Alfred-Wegener-Institut in the Antarctic. It is located on the approximately 200-meter thick Ekstrom Ice Shelf several kilometers south of Neumayer-Station II.[1] The station's assembly kit was transported to its current position beginning of November 2007. It is moving with the shelf ice at about 200 meters per year towards the open sea.[2]

Wiki Source

Still trying to find out some additional information on just what happened there, but like I said before, it's just not there.

It depends on the type of fire. If it was a gas fire it would look very much like the steam in the picture. So I understand the confusion.

After better examining the picture, I'd be willing to put money on my interpretation of it.

The shadows cast on the foreground are the clincher. They are way too soft for them to be cast by a direct light source. They would be much sharper if they were being cast by a flame. The steam is acting as a diffuser to the sodium light, giving them a very soft edge.

Interesting.

I totally see why the OP suggested a link to the transformer blow outs that happened on the 15th and 16th- as we've been able to determine they happened in many parts of the globe. Why include countries on opposite sides of the world and eliminate examination of Antartica?

Agreed alot of people are not all that computer savy.. I for instance just found out how to link articles and embed videos just a couple weeks ago. Like you said, theres no need to insult the OP just because he/she posted the story before and the poster didn't like the way it was setup. Not everybody is on the computer daily...or even weekly. I for one thank the OP for bringing it up

Ooooh please...Yes it's a just a video...just a line...but all is in the video no ? Explosion or fire in the middle of nowhere...
I don't know what it means, i'm not in there base, so i can't explain what it is. Indirectly, i said it in the opening. What can I do for improving the description ? Sincerley, nothing, you see with your eyes, you don't need explanations for that.
And i posted this to see what others thought and there are some members here, interested in.
So, please, i cannot invent a story of this. Well, in the past, I wrotten a lot. But here, there are not explanations of that. No sites are reporting it too.

If you like GREEAAAAT qualities of threads you can see others, there are many, because i'm not perfect.
You don't need great description to build a thread

Sorry, i don't want to be furious because i respect you, because you have more stars and more experience but please, understand others who are starting on this site. You want an elite ? Well go for it. Help me with link, descriptions, or thoughts, not with critics.

Finally, this thread will be deleted because i thought it was not an explosion after watching more, and alerted moderators. After i saw people interested in. But i don't know how to say moderators to cancel my demand.

Conclusion : watch the video if you want, post thoughts and help me if you want but nothing more. That's all

Please theres no need to talk like that. I could call you a nerdy computer geek who is too concerned about how the thread looks than the what the thread is actually about. If you want to improve or help the OP out then tell him how to do it. I agree the Op was short but theres no need to insult them and then insult another poster who tried to teach you some manners by saying if it were up to them we'd be cavemen. Holy cow man i'd say if it were up to them this forum would be alot kinder and helping towards others. Which is something we need more of in this world, thank you very much. And I figured out how to do if myself too, whippy doo basil.
