The actions of those that are in free fall are very dangerous.
She is grasping at the last straw, personal freedom in a last ditch effort to save her political career.
Not surprised.
Obama touted himself as financially conservative during the campaign. Yet, has shown that is farthest from the truth.

But it is gonna take time to get to those, not unlike yourself, who are comfortable letting the goverment ruin our future. Like the people who employ the politicians first to get them into government???

The entities that then utilize the purchased politicians, to create new federal spending with the lobby...

If you look at the list of responses I gave, you will see that number 7 and 10 talk about this. For a start end NAFTA and get rid of all of the lobbiest.

Not so sure I am on the same page as you when you said "many of my suggestions would be well received by liberals" though. I think the more progressive they are the more they would disagree with them.

It seems like just cutting all those programs would be pretty bad for the country. Tons of those things would just create huge amounts(more) of unemployed people who would probably all march on Washington.

Heck, even bringing the troops home to work on public works would put every construction company out of business.

Which one are you worried about causing unemployment? Fireing the lobbiest? Fireing the crooks? Getting rid of illegals?
And I do not believe you would have to worry about the constuction companies. They would still have more work than they could handle. Our infrastructure is crumbling.

She dont mean it none. Just her way of trying to the the other side to lay down thier pet spending toys. Or her way of defending not puting hers down.

I dont have a problem with your ideas that'd be a pretty good start but its the rest of the nation who would have sissy fits unlike ever before.

Were talking cutting welfair checks 40% (instant riots in all major cities) all government pay 40% including soldiers,cutting medicaid medicare and social security 40%. Thats just a start on the cuts needed to BREAK EVEN.

In other words,it isnt going to happen they cant,wont,and will not ever balance the budget,pay off the debt and get off of deficit spending untill it crashes. Hold on,it wont be long before something breaks.

I said years ago there would be war to wipe the slate clean. Not little wars like we have now but another world war and I still believe that today.

Pelosi is DSA. She will not put her Sacred Cows of entitlement spending on the table. I think all along, their Socialist plan was to replace medicare and medicaid with Obamacaid, and its a pretty expensive bandaid.

I wish we could get some people in there that would do what needs to be done. As it stands though I have to agree with you.

NO democrat is going to touch entitlements since thats where their votes come from.....those buslaods of drones who ride to the polls every two years and vote a dem party line are breeding more and more drones every year....thats the power base of democrats

Yea, I know what you're saying. One of my very first threads was about that. They supply many with what they claim is "assistance" (enslavement) and in return they get their vote.
