Libyan government asks why ICC isn't also seeking to prosecute Syria

Libya's deputy foreign minister, Khaled Kaim, cited the continued liberty of Sudanese president, Omar al-Bashir, as an example of the ICC's "impotence", saying the veteran dictator was safe in Khartoum despite claims that he had played a direct role in the genocide in Darfur.

An arrest warrant was issued for Bashir in 2008. However, he still travels around Africa and no attempts have been made to seize him.

Truth speaks louder then Lies by the international community

Warrants are likely to be issued for Gaddafi, one of his sons, Saif al-Islam, and his trusted intelligence chief, Abdullah Senussi. ICC prosecutor Luis Mareno- Ocampo claimed he had built a strong case that each of the three men had directed attacks on civilians since the violent anti-regime uprising began in eastern Libya three months ago.

Why Warrants on the sons of Gaddafi? to prevent them from power in the office, the supposed evidence agaisnt Gaddafi was made on lies created by the mainstream, and to say that rebels haven't committed any war crimes is a double standard.

So ATS what do you think of Warrants? ironic, that there are no warrants on Bush yet, or his fellow war criminals.

Now NATO won't mind assassinating Qaddafi since the ICC made their life a bit easy. "Crimes against humanity"...PFFFT...What about George Bush and Tony Blair who led us to war with a country based on a lie only to find no WMDs?

Just goes to show how the ICC itself is corrupt with its own agenda...

I suspect the reason why the neo-cons are so against the 'war' in Libya is its sets a precedent for going after people like Bush, et al.

International law? They detest the idea a court is higher than us corporate/military might.
