This is a list of bullet points and facts comparing our current national statistics. It's very interesting to me; the long list of things the Republicans have done to push me away and some of the things that BO has done that don't bother me.

This article really makes it simple to understand where the Tea Party came from and, from my experience, the sorts of people who are in it.

U.S. corporations are enjoying a 65% profit increase in 2011, the highest profits in U.S. history and the highest profits in the world.

U.S. executives/investors got an 11% pay increase in 2011. They pay each other anywhere from 700 to 400 times more than what their U.S. workers get.

There are 8 million U.S. millionaires in 2011 up from 6 million in 2008. These are not penny saving baby boomers but executives/investors who have slimmed U.S. worker wages and outsourced jobs.

49% of all new jobs in 2011 are low wage $9 to $13 per hour.
14% of all new jobs in 2011 are high wage 19$ to $33 per hour.
McDonald's got over 1 million applicants.

Walmart U.S. reports trouble. K-Mart and Target report good times.
New U.S. Home Sales are at an 8 year low.

the stock market was over 14,000 under bush gold was at all time lows

gold is still over 1000 an ounce.


and gold is the biggest indicator of uncertianity and problems on the horizon.

This is really, "just the way it is" and I think it's the reason there is such a thing as the "Tea Party" today. Neither of the 2 parties are committed to their oath of office. If anyone had been, we wouldn't be in this epic mess.

On this, we agree. The TPM stands for small government, lower taxes, and adherence to the Constitution. It is successful because of the Obama's of the world.

Is this article serious?

The economy.

The economy is being propped up by the FED and 10% of GDP deficit spending. It's not ``Obama's`` doing... and even if it was, it's all fake growth.

And the economy isn't all about jobs and stock market. Guess what, NOTHING THAT CAUSED THE CRISIS WAS FIXED. NOTHING. The banks are robbing the country blind, inflation is at unseen levels since the end of the 70s, but eh, the stock market is rising! Cheer up!

Taxes.

Taxes are indeed lower right now, but wait till Obamacare fully kicks in, or cap and trade, or private toll roads, or pay by the mile, or the dollar collapse, or the bond market say NO MORE DEFICIT SPENDING... your taxes are gonna skyrocket.

Spending.

Total insane spending.

The War On Terror.

The whole war on terror is a scam. The patriot act being extended, doing more drone attacks in Pakistan, attacking Libya, retaining Robert Gates and putting more troops in Afghanistan are supposed to be GOOD THINGS? What are those people smoking?

Immigration.

Yeah let's forget they are trying to pass amnesty and they supplied thousands of guns to drug cartels on purpose, probably killing thousands of innocent people in Mexico... great job there.

Compared to other advanced economies.

Compared to other advanced economies? Like the revolutions/riots Bernanke's insane economic policies have produced?

Compared to Republicans.

Yeah let's compare the two heads of the same dragon together.

The bailout of banks? Bush started that.

And Obama rallied the senators into voting for it. And he voted for it.

The bailout of auto companies? Bush started that.

And Obama voted for it and continued.

Government take-over of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and 90% of the home mortgage business that went with them? Bush did that.

And again, Obama voted for it and even expanded it.

Ethanol subsidies? Pushed by many Republicans and expanded by Bush.

And still going on.

Outlawing light bulbs? Bush did that.

Still illegal.

Mandating individual health insurance? Mitt Romney did that.

And? Romney did it for one state, Obama did it for everyone.

"Comprehensive" immigration reform? Both Bush and McCain pushed that.

And Obama is too.

No Child Left Behind? Ted Kennedy and George W. Bush pushed that, and Bush signed it into law.

Yeah and it was a crappy crappy program.

# Do you want a vigorous attack against waterboarding? Just ask John McCain.

Still going on.

Anyway this whole article is such BS. Based on lies and distortion and some things pictured as good are total garbage.

Democrats = Republicans. Simple as that.

Many of the bullets in the article were liberal bullcrap. I agree with the author's conclusions, like

None of this changes my mind about Obama. I think he is a doctrinaire Marxist. I think he is one of the stupidest people to hold that office. And for my money he is by far the most obnoxious (the I-me-my president) in my lifetime, and perhaps history.

but I don't like the bullets he used.

Sorry, in your haste to troll, you are making some major assumptions that are not based on fact. Why do you think it is necessary to try to make this a R vs D battle? I am neither; I am an Independent with conservative ideals. I believe in small government, economic thrift, and the Constitution. I'm a natural advocate of the Tea Party Movement; they make perfect common sense to me. I am strongly against socialistic principles held by Obama and his advocates such as you.

Of course I think that. Our relationships with our employers are professional and personal relationships that shouldn't have anything at all to do with the government. Employers should be free to hire and fire, employees should be free to walk. That's not the only job in town. Screw that guy I'm outta here.

Where is there room for the government in that type of relationship? When you are a free man, there is none.
