Haha, wtf?!? That is some sort of joke. The picture has just been slotted in over the top of that card.

Hmm, I was totally a non-believer until I saw this screenshot. Look at the top-left corner of the ID card. You can clearly see the photo is slotted over the top and then has a stamp over both surfaces.

Now you have a die-hard Elenin debunker wondering. Some help me out here?

Same nose.

Same right eyebrow higher than the left.

Spamming the same comparison 3 times in two pages....

What's your game mate?

Why are you so desperate to discredit him?

It's almost as if you've got an ulterior motive...

And why are you so desperate to discredit me? I didn't spam the same photo 3 times. The third used a different, better screen capture. Also, you obviously haven't read ANY of my posts. I'm not saying a thing about the comet, just this video, which is a fraud from top to bottom.

If it is the same guy, my wife would love to know what facial products he uses to make himself look a few years younger (so would I)

I would put this down to the fact that hes shaved off his beard, you would be amazed how much younger I look without my stubble chin.

I think the biggest "Conspiracy" here is not that this man is or isn't the same person (because it seems to me it is) its that damn ID, I mean look at it, its a joke and sure doesn't look official.

I'm gonna do some digging on it (ID).

I expatriated to a 3rd world country and they just took my photo and pasted it onto a piece of paper with a stamp on it..
But he's in Russia. The interview took place in Russia (anyone know where exactly?). Do you really think Russia uses ID's like that?

I'm desperate am I?

I'm calling out a spammer with an agenda.

Why not post up a more recent image to compare with, instead of an older one where he's obviously a few kilos lighter?

Such as...

Oh wait, it's the fake guy again, right?

So the question begs...why is he a fake?

Just coz you say so?

I don't know where in Russia it took place, I also don't know what kind of ID they use there, which is why I demanded more proof beyond an assumption. The burden of that proof is not lying on my shoulders though.
I would be curious to know what they use and it is very likely they use such IDs because you just saw one.

Clearly it's different, the ID card he showed was in two.

So it's obviously not an official Russian ID card, maybe it's his amateur astronomy clubs card and it's cheaply made (which is obvious since it hasn't been printed front to back and his photo is literally stuck onto the paper before it got laminated)

That deserves a star, I suspected that might be the case. But the then the question becomes, if he was so worried about people thinking he's "a fake", why not show the camera some "real" ID instead of some sloppy institution ID. I also found it interesting how he had trouble flying, because they also apparently thought he wasn't a real person...that is a bit strange, if he DID have the legitimate identification SURELY the airport staff wouldn't be so stupid to believe he doesn't exist.

My friend, the ONLY agenda I have is to get to the truth. Whether I come out in favor of, or against, the conspiracy theory concerning Comet Elenin, you can rest assured that my conclusion will be based in incontrovertible, observable, reproducible scientific fact. Either way, I imagine that people are going to accuse me of bias in one form or another. So you just think what you want to think; I can't stop you one bit, nor would I try. I'll sleep well knowing that I have satisfied MYSELF, which is the reason I undertook this investigation in the first place.

You gonna tell us how the ID is legit too? In my experience as a reporter and editor - 24 years worth - if one part of a news story is faked it calls the entire report into question. Again, since you have a problem with reading my posts, I haven't talked AT ALL about the comet or the conspiracy theory surrounding it - just THIS video in particular - and I stand by my assessment that it is a fraud. The second guy could be the brother or cousin of the first, but it is definitely not the same guy in the original picture.

I agree. He said he had a passport that officials were having a hard time accepting. I would have accepted that over this ID he showed. Also, I don't believe that any official ID, door pass or not, would be as sloppily made. I can make a better ID in 5 minutes, and one would think that if the smallest institute required one to get in the building, it wouldn't look like a third grader made it. I get better temporary ID's - WITH my picture on it - when I go to visit folks in my local hospital.

IT´S NOT HIS NATIONAL ID CARD!!!

It´s his id card to institute where he works. They say it in that video.

I never said it was a "National" ID card did I. IMO, ANY ID, even one to an educational institute in Soviet Russia (yes I know the USSR no longer exists ) would look better than that.
