What Is NASA Hiding?

Hello ATSer's.

Came accross this SOHO image while reading another thread:

Whats with the black square? what are they hiding (if anything)? This picture was taking at 01:06, this next image was taken 12 hours later (13:06)

As you can see the black square has gone, along with the object it was hiding.

So what are they hiding? A planet (I.e: Mercury not "Nibiru")? Spaceship?

I guess that was a comet diving in to sun......

The comet hit the sun on the 11th, these images were taken today (14th).

Even if it was a comet diving into the sun, why would they block it out?

The two SOHO pictures don't look 12 hrs apart either. They are almost the same image. All the activity is in the same places on both pictures. Just barely a difference.

But, then again the Sun is a big boy but I would imagine the activity to be a lot different 12 hrs apart. Maybe? Maybe not?

Why does a black square suddenly equate to someone hiding something?

Isnt it possible that it could just be a glitch prevented the necessary datablock for that part of the image from being received and processed? Havent you ever seen the digital signal on your TV go fuzzy/blocky/wonky/whatever?

Well thats one theory and one I'm inclined to believe at this time, I just think its a bit ominous that the rest of the picture (and other SOHO images) are fine. And we all know that NASA like to airbrush and cover strange anomalies in their pictures.

I noticed that too but I think the SOHO telescope orbits at the same rate as the Sun, although I could be wrong. I'm gonna do a bit of digging on this.

I just emailed "Dr Soho", asking about the black square and why the Suns activity is in the same position aas it was twelve hours ago.

Lets see if I get a reply.

SOHO use to Update their online pictures on a more frequent basis...every 45 minutes, I believe it use to be.....but I have the feeling too many anomaly's were showing up.....that people were questioning

Now the pictures are update (online) one every 12 hours....
Yet SOHO is a Chinese tourist gone mad when it comes to snapping pictures....and WE get to see one every....12 hours?

I'm pretty sure if they were going to hide something they could and would use techniques a little less obvious that drawing a black square over things, I'm pretty sure they have at least one computer laying around somewhere.

Really, hmmmm I never knew that, very suspicious. That makes it more likely that they are hiding something in the first image.

I find it hard to beleave that we or anything out there has the brains to make anything to get that close to the sun without burning up
me i think its a flaw in the pitcher thats all

It's more likely this is something to do with the way the image is captured rather than NASA opening up MS Paint and adding a little black box.

If they were covering up anything why would they put the image up in the first place? If there was something to hide wouldn't they just not put the image up at all?

On the left is the picture from the OP and on the right is the same picture but this one I took from the archive, as you can see the black square has gone. So I guess they either airbrushed it out or it was indeed a glitch (the most logical theory).

Its a shame that I have to constantly second guess everything that NASA does.

If there where hiding something do you really think they would put an "obvious" black square there???
Wouldn't putting said black square there cause more questions like you have posted?

Its most likely a pixel glitch of some sort. Nothing really to see sorry.
