Drudge says that the Bush Administration is working
on getting rid of the IRS and going to a different kind
of tax system.

This would save soooo much time and money.
It's an excellent idea. No more IRS, no more
tax books, no more tax paperwork.
That would save oooodles of $$$ that could
be spent elsewhere.

The IRS and our tax system is a money sucking
inefficient dinosaur.

You are out of your gord. The IRS, while it does take our money, only does so because the Government tells it to. If your unhappy with taxes and the good (and bad) that they do, go overthrow the government and make it your world, spend money how you want to. Better yet, just print off an extra $X Trillion dollars off the presses and pass it around, that will eliminate the gov't debt right?? NO.

Taxes are good, especially when you understand tax law and know how to evade them legally. Taxes are used for some good, some of the time.
