Is this what passes as Punk these days? I grew up on The Ramones, New York Dolls, and of course the Sex Pistols. In the 90's there was a fresh resurgence of "light" punk, but where is the guts on the floor attitude and the Anarchy??

The stuff I usually like is hardcore that evolved during the 80's I think, but yeah, Pistols were one of the best alright. And yeah, the stuff I like isn't what's around these days! It's around 2/3/3.5 decades old usually.

I very rarely log in, or comment at all. But since punk rock is a big part of my life, seeing this... I couldnt pass it up.

Anyway, what about the Subhumans, DRI, Dr. Know, Reagan Youth, even The Pist are pretty good. Those are some good ones Im into, among others of course.
I actually just saw The Adicts a couple of months ago. Theres an older classic we shouldnt forget about.

Punk Rock is going on tonight, two different posts, I love it!
I was in the scene in the 80's, I lived mostly in Ohio, and Indiana, and if I didn't get beat up every time I left the house, the threat was there. I have paid my dues.
Do the younger kids have it easier? I don't know. I do know I support the rebellious spirit 100 percent!
Ok heres some music:

OK, this is cool, let's have some punk. For anyone wanting to embed :

On your youtube song you'll see the address, then "watch?v=" take the code after that and click the button amongst the blue list at the top, then paste it in.

Note : if it says some crap like '&featureembedded', just take the code inbetween the = and the & symbol.

S.O.D. There's a band you never here of much anymore, Scott Ian sure is trying to forget about all that, huh? Not too PC, Oh well that was the point back then. Remember M.O.D. with Billy Milano the singer from S.O.D.? I remember my teacher from government class looking at that album,S.O.D., that I had with me, album, not CD, not MP3, and reading the song title "Kill Yourself", and he looked at me in the eye and with real concern and said "Don't kill yourself", well I didn't now I'm going to see if I can find that song.
Found it:
