It's OFFICIAL everyone, Sanity & Common Sense is making a second appearence in 2012 for the seat at the oval office.
The previous announcement was just a formation of an exploratory commitee to see if it's worth it or not.
Well... he decided it's worth it and will be running for president.

Sanity & Common Sense 2012

Full Speed Ahead!!!

Good luck Dr. Paul.

Fingers crossed that the media sticks to REPORTING and FAIR COVERAGE this time instead of trying to influence the process itself. Jerry Day's youtube video from the '08 race still makes me fume every time I watch it. What other candidate ever had a blimp...when's the last time we saw real grass-roots support. Who actually had supporters willing to prove it by opening their hearts and wallets before they were the obvious establishment party candidates?

Go grassroots, and media, PLEASE live up to what Kennedy asked of you - give us a fair chance this time around. I don't think we'll get many more!

If Ron Paul is going to win it wont be with any help from the bought n paid for MSM,
It ill be thru the internet.

Gee, US may get someone governing FOR the people.

If he does become POTUS, I Predict he will set a record as the president with the highest tally of:
'exercising his right to veto'.

Never gave him much thought before but when I watched the debate last week and heard things like "end two wars we can't afford", end the IRS, bring our troops home and use them to secure the border and the fact that he declined his governments pension plan.......... He's talking my language. That's one thing you never hear. Our politicians never breathe a word about their pension plans and life time health benefits

Ron Paul is the right guy at the right place at the right time. If he is a "nut" for his weird ideas; like reducing government spending; slashing the size of the federal government and bringing back personal responsibility instead of socialism...then so be it. He has my vote. Its going to be a tough uphill battle but I really beleive this man can get elected. I once considered myself a Republican before splitting from the party after Bush got elected the 2nd time and then i became an independent. I will NEVER toe the party line again. When its a choice between the lesser of the two evils, the winner will still be evil!

I just donated 100 dollars to the campain. Godspeed Dr. Paul!!

Here is a really cool thread to find out what kind of libertarian you are... even if you think you already know take the quiz anyways you may be suprised...or you may be like me and have your positions reaffirmed... check it out! libertarian quiz

Who cares. I used to support Bush (the first time he ran) and I even voted for Obama during the last election. During the last election, Obama WAS the lesser of the two evils. As I said in my above post, I now realise that when you vote for the lesser of the two evils, evil still wins.

I didn't vote in the last presidential election. I didn't like my choices.

Ron Paul will receive my vote.

Did I post a thread 3yrs ago supporting someone who had a gimmicky sign saying "change" which he always refused to define?

Absolutely not!

Last election only 2 people I supported was Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinnich.

I never trusted Obama, not even for a sec
The way he acted and spoke throughout the campaign trail I knew if he became president he would NEVER go in interviews with though questions and there would be too many mysteries about him.
I'm not a birther though, so that's not what I mean, I mean his views and policies.

He was also, before campaigning, a co-author of the 2nd draft of the Patriot Act.

So nope!
