Awesome and powerful! An anomalous coronal plasma blob ejection: circular and with an incredible and strange shape. An amateur astronomer from Holland, Jan Timmermans discovered this anomaly on 02 May 2011. This surprising phenomenon was shot on a spot located in the southwest of the luminary. A randomly captured amazing prominence, which broke away from the surface of the sun and turned into a fireball of the size of our planet! How could it be? Something else interact with our star?

Jan did not specify its fate: whether the fireball fell back on the sun, as it usually happens with protuberances, or flew away, as the coronal plasma blob ejection. Fans of the anomalous, who believe that next to the Sun now and then there are UFOs (such reports replete with Internet access), gladly would have ranked as a giant balloon to "objects of extraterrestrial civilizations." But Timmerman sure shot still prominence only - oddly shaped.

Fascinating

I've always loved to read about these sort of things...

Kinda of puts things into perspective for us...

that the big bright source of energy and heat in the sky...
has objects the size of our planet exploding from it...

Imagine that...

as a Hippie would say...

Far-Out

Yeah it's an Air Force weather balloon. No doubt in my mind.

If it is an "ET Mothership" I think someone should contact them and let them know their fire alarm has failed...
