(excuse my grammar, because English is not my primary language)
I wish I had the exact minute this happened but I don't. I am a financial analyst and I was putting some numbers into a spreadsheet on Thursday May 5th. All of a sudden I find myself snapping to attention, because I had zoned out, and all of the work I had put in for the past 30 seconds was GONE. No "undo" or "redo" brought them back. I know I put in the numbers because I remember the exact number which a formula produced, and it was about 8 digits long.
It seemed like there was some weird time lapse, but I remembered clearly entering the numbers into the formula, and the outcome of the formula, which I could not have possible known without a calculator.
This made me a total conspiracy theorist and this is how I found this site.
This actually happened to me once when I was a child. I remembered being on the school bus, looking out the window, and the next moment I am sitting in class, with no memory of going from point A to point B. This memory stuck in my mind for years and years.
Whatever, I am a believer now.

I always have little "blackouts" like that when I'm walking through the grocery store/ random times during the day. I have had some that were long black outs and my ex-step mom says it's because a demon possessed me and told me to wear a silver cross. I have to say I do think my black outs have gotten shorter since wearing one but I still have them so who knows.

You should get investigated for epilepsy, and you should not be driving if you know you have blackouts at the wheel. One day your luck might run out, I hope you can live with yourself if you kill someone else through being so irresponsible. PS, demons as an explanation for illness went out of fashion in the middle ages.

I already spent time in the hospital looking for anything with the brain. the doctors thought I was lying to them because they didn't find anything wrong. It's hard to kill some one if your the only one on the road at 4 am besides semi's and I don't think my tiny car can take one of those out. She says she "isn't of any religion but she is a bit of all of them"....and etc....

Periods of mini "blackouts" like this occur all the time. Sounds exactly like a microsleep, nothing unusual here! Microsleep.

Thank you for finding that. I have been told by doctors that I have sleep deprivation, mental fatigue, depression, sleep apnea and hypersomnia but have only been given Prozac for Depression in my life. I was told I had mild Epilepsy in the hospital and That I could go on treatment medicine and they said all of there tests proved there was nothing wrong with my brain but at the time my mom didn't want me to be on the medicine because they didn't prove I had anything wrong.
