Why does.............

Well there are questions everywhere, and there are many web pages that try to answer them. Okay, so here's the challenge for ATS “Smart Alecs” (yes you know what that means) you are allowed to ask a question that starts with “Why Does”..

A few rules to keep order

1) The question must not be more than one line
2) The questions needs to be answerable so you can't ask “Why does the universe exist” no thats a no no
3) You must ask a question that you know the answer too so that if there is no answers or the answers are incorrect you can give us the answer when you see fit. Just include your Q and A
4) Eventually all questions must be answered by someone or by the person submitting the question.

Now thats not to hard is it. Look, this is designed to just be a bit of fun so lets keep it fun and its hopeful it will be educational also.

We could all learn something here

Just have some fun

Ok, I'll kick it off.

Adding salt lowers the freezing point of water, so the ice is prevented from forming.

Because the pressure of social conformity and acceptance somehow overpowers the fact that it really all tastes like saltwater?

The butter side weighs more than the unbuttered side so it naturally flips over that way, like a Weeble?

Yea I would have said because the buttered side is heavier - I wonder if there was a myth-busters on this !

Not many takers on this one - Its a hard one to answer because there are degrees of like. Some people can't stand the stuff. As far as the more you drink the better it tastes I'm not thats correct. Lets say you have done a days work what the most thirst quenching thing you want, thats right a beer, not water, not a glass of red but a beer.
