Excerpt (WorldNetDaily):

Documents obtained by WND indicate the Kenyan government investigated the possibility that President Obama was born in the East African nation.

Two letters purportedly written by Kenya's immigration secretary during the 2008 U.S. presidential election campaign stated that officials in Nairobi could not find evidence Obama was born in Kenya. But the official said the government had "information" that relevant birth records may have been removed or were missing. [....]

Another birther post from WND. yawn.

So by their own crack team of investigator's admission -

1. No records of Obama being born in Kenya exist.
2. Kenya, a poor corrupt third-world nation, has sloppy record keeping.
3. Those missing records just have to be Obama's fault.

So how many Hawaiian officials, even ones that are republican, have to state that Obama was born in Hawaii according to their own records? Apparently the truth doesn't matter to WND or birthers, they're on a witch hunt.

You miss the crucial point. It does not matter how many officials mindlessly confirm that their records indicate that Obama was born in Hawaii because the information in those records were supplied either by his mother or by his grandmother and therefore may be partially inaccurate. This has NEVER been a party-political issue and so the fact that the officials me be Republican is hardly an argument for trusting what they say.

The truth matters far more to birthers than people like you who accept on blind faith whatever some official tells you, whether he is in a position to know the truth or not.

Given the amount of effort Barry Soetoro has made for the Secret Service to seal all his education records for reasons that have never been explained, the fact that the Kenyan officials cannot apparently find any trace of his birth in Kenya proves nothing at all, as it could be just part of the general coverup of his history.

If you are going to argue that the birther issue is silly, at least make your arguments more convincing.
