Russian Scientist? Why do I always cringe when I hear that term! James Randy sorted out the 'Russian Scientists' last time he was there.

I have played my share of poker too. Never had the RF. I have seen new players, on more than one occasion, come to a game and get it. I do see it as nothing more than coincidence.

As for the study, I read over it and the potential variables are endless and they cannot account for them all. Two months for a study like that, really? That is hardly concrete evidence of the power of positive thinking. I they did the study over the course of a few years, different times, multiple locations and the results were always the same, then it would warrant further study, but still be inconclusive.

Nicely said. It's far easier to toss a negitive than to nurture a positive; the former is like fast food, the latter is a meal.

Iv always thought this was possible. Now excuse me, im off to concentrate on picking this weeks lotto numbers

I'm focusing on a world where money is obsolete, people give everything away for free, workers work to support their entire community, and blatant greed is a felony.

Please move to NK, China, Cuba or Vietnam. Communist utopianism has already killed tens if not hundreds of million people across the globe. Until we have access to unlimited resources, an economic system that is fair(doesn't allow lazy sociopaths to steal from others) and rewarding is needed.

Umm, if they tested it for a few years and in different locations/times and got consistent results, it would be fair to say the results/data is pretty conclusive.

That's cool! I want a picture of my energy field.
Just call it a damn aura, because that's the correct term. It is of course an energy field, but "energy field" is a very broad term. This isn't some sort of new discovery, it's simply scientific proof of something I've intuitively understood most of my life - that human beings (and other life forms) emit energy fields - more specifically referred to as "auras".

Perhaps because you're a generalizing racist?

Ok call this crazy. But one day I tried a method of psychic grounding that I found on the internet. (Never tried it before.) Afterwards, I could see in total darkness. And my entire body outline was illuminated. (Likely why the room was so lit up.) It was amazing to see. And I kept holding my hands out in front of me ito look at them, in amazement. I wanted to try it again, but could never find the web page again. There are like a bajillion ways on the web to do this. Obviously seeing your aura is possible. But what does it do for you, besides light up the room?

LMAO! That has to be the stupidest use of the race card I have ever seen. You clearly need to work on your ad-homonyms!

Russia is a very superstitious country and even their 'scientists' (for lack of a better term) are away with the fairies most of the time. As I said, James Randy sorted out Russia's 'esoteric' scientists and caught them stacking the deck, making unsubstantiated claims, moving the goal posts and outright lying. In fact, what he found was a complete lack of science.

I'll leave you now to play with your toys!

Yeah, because you work with Russian Scientists and have thoughtfully studied and observed what they eat for breakfast and when they use the restroom.

People are people regardless what label you put on them.

As for the video OP, nice share. One of the most prevalent things I have heard was that the proof of things of these sorts would be almost completely proven through technology and scientific studies.

Your post has nothing to do with anything. I seem to have missed the point you thought you were making. Ted Bundy must be innocent of all charges too because I never personally met him right?

They didn't do those things. It's a seriously flawed 'study.'

People who buy into this idea are either delusional, liars or con artists. I people could create reality around them via positive and intentional thought and energy, more and more people would be living perfect lives, with all the material things they want or need, or performing miracles. That is the bottom line.

Becuase until we as people change our mindsets as a whole, for every one person who will "work for the good of mankind" there are 2 who will sit around and do nothing and leech off the system. Its called Socialism, and it has failed.

Oh yeah, and capitalism works? Look at the world today, wow a great system that works for 10% of the population. Where the lazy actually make more money then the hard workers. Socialism hasn't failed, it hasn't even been tried properly.

If socialism doesn't work, it's because we have been educated in capitalism where there is no end to greed and overproduction. We waste so much time working for useless things, if everyone worked together, no one would have to work "full time" like we do now.

Every time I see something wrong about socialism, is that people think some will not work and live off others. ( It's pretty much the only "flaw" of socialism that people point out )
Well, let me wake you up because those people right now that don't work, are above us all. They do not take only their share, they take our share has well and your children's share before they are even born.

So what if the first generation of socialism has people doing nothing and living off others. The working class can decide how much those people make for doing nothing. After they are gone and dead, their children being educated with having honor in working for the community will take their place. Right now, the working class doesn't even decide how much they give to people living off them, the people living off them actually make the choice on how much money they steal from the working class

Capitalism is made to eventually get to a point where there is monopoly and there is no getting around it. You have been lied all your life and you have also been educated that this lie is best thing ever. Well look at the people that want to live normally that can't because of damn money. If you had to work your way up from being homeless to where I am now, you wouldn't believe in capitalism.

I would rather work 20 hours a week for my society then working 40 hours to make someone already richer then me, even richer.

What he is saying is very true, however, there are beings that are tampering with the natural fields of the planet with electric transmitters, why, I don't know, however, they are tampering with something that is beyond thier ken.

Love this thread!!!

I've been saying all along that science needs to, and eventually will (after a lengthy battle with the skeptic hardliners) to go down this direction to really start to make progress.

Eventually science will even prove God ....and when that happens, I want to be at the press conference so I can see the reaction on atheists faces when the announcement is made.

More than meets the eye

It's been tried already. It's called communism. It's good in theory but it doesn't work in real life.
