The Best Damn E.T. Movie, EVER !

I watched this a few weeks ago, got my kids to watch it too. The younger ones enjoyed it. It hasn't dated much at all.

You realize you've gotten old when you watch E.T. and the thing that strikes you most about it is that the mother leaves a five year old kid home alone while she goes and picks up Elliot! Did people really do that back then?
